If you have questions about the house features, the location of the house, or transportation in the city, please be sure to read the entire description – almost every question you have is answered here! Especially important is the section titled ‘getting around’ which explains the very limited public transportation in Las Vegas and offers suggestions for getting around the city. More information is also provided in the detailed guest books located in each bedroom and the kitchen!

—newly renovated back yard with large patio, gas grill, patio swing, table and 6 chairs, conversational patio set, and space to set up my complete Cornhole game set (boards with lighted holes, corn bags, and score boards with cup holders!)

—modern kitchen with granite counters, gas range, full-sized double ovens, dishwasher, microwave, modern refrigerator/freezer, complimentary coffee/tea station, and complimentary stocked spice rack and basic pantry items (flour, sugar, cooking oil, etc.)

The game room has a Skee Ball machine, a dart board, a billiard table, and a Foosball table! Just around the corner is the kitchen with full-sized double ovens, a large gas stove top, and everything you would expect from a fully stocked kitchen included cooking spices and cooking oil in the cupboard and basic condiments in the refrigerator.

I am originally from Ohio but I fell in love with the desert southwest when I visited for the first time a couple of years ago, and not long after decided to change my place of residence to this part of the country. I almost chose Phoenix, Arizona, but landed in Las Vegas, Nevada instead – a very fun and surprisingly pretty city.

I was formerly an IT consultant full time, but these days I split my time between consulting and making a very enjoyable profession out of hosting guests and travelers from all over the world in my two Las Vegas homes. I have a busy schedule between IT clients and all the work it takes to manage two very large houses, but I always go the extra mile to give all my guests 5-star treatment and accommodations!

When I do find free time I love to cook, but in the interest of good health I stick to organic, non-GMO, naturally raised, low carb, gluten free, and free of any refined carbohydrates, sugars, or starches. It makes for a lot of interesting experiments in the kitchen, but I’ve developed quite the knack for making delicious and nutritious meals this way!

Our family had an amazing stay in this home! Great location, close to everything. The home was super clean, and Jillian went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs and answered every message very quickly (which was SO appreciated when our 5 year old locked the door to one of the rooms and we couldn’t find a key lol). The kitchen is fully stocked; we cooked often and never ran out of utensils or anything. Ceiling fans everywhere, central a/c, blinds and curtains to block out the hot Vegas sun. We had space to spread out, space to play (so nice to have the games right there to hang out with) just so much space, space, space!! We didn’t use the backyard much so can’t really comment on that, but the vast openness behind the house was a nice breath of fresh air; a real pleasure not to look out the windows and into a block wall. The layout of the home was perfect for our needs. The master walk-in closet is massive and converted into a nursery. We don’t have babies who need a crib (too bad I didn’t know about this place when the kiddos were younger!), but that glider in there gave me the perfect hideaway spot to read and have some peace and quiet away from the rest of the group. I wish I had a huge closet like that at home! Laundry room is upstairs, which I appreciated; Loved being able to wash the smoky smell of the casinos out, and love going home with clean clothes in my suitcase…unpack and voila! Done! This will be our go-to home whenever we visit Las Vegas. Can’t wait to return!! Thank you, Jillian!! You were amazing!!

My house is in a quiet neighborhood where you can feel relaxed and at home, while still being close enough to the strip to enjoy the fantastic Las Vegas experience. From my house it is very easy to access everything by car: i-15 (2 minutes), the airport (10 minutes), The Strip (10 minutes but varies with traffic), the convention center (15 minutes but varies with traffic), downtown/old Vegas (25 minutes), Red Rock Canyon (30 minutes), and Hoover Dam / Lake Mead (40 minutes).

There is plenty of free street parking in my neighborhood, and you’ll find all the conveniences you can imagine within a mile or two – a casino, restaurants, a movie theater, a bowling alley, a library, a park, outlet shopping, specialty shops, grocery stores, pubs, liquor and wine stores, sushi bars, ice cream parlors, fast food, and more!

Please be aware that Las Vegas (like the majority of the us) has very limited public transportation. If you want to stay off-strip anywhere in this city (not just my house) be aware that a round trip cab ride to the strip (about $50) will cost more than a car rental for the day (as low as $25).

Besides the obvious cost savings of renting a car vs. taking taxis, there are so many other things to see and do in Vegas besides the strip (like Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam, or Fremont Street Experience), and having a car gives you the ability to access these things which a cab and public transportation cannot do.
