1940S swansea bay museum review simon – review of 1940s swansea bay, swansea, wales – tripadvisor electricity and circuits physics

on Friday the 14th of November we got on a bus and drove down to Swansea bay to explore the fantastic very interesting ww2 war museum first we saw a bomb that hadn’t gone off then we got to go inside an Anderson shelter to have a look then we saw engines of two different types of planes. Afterwards we went inside the war museum and the entrance was made up of 3 Anderson shelters it had a bunk bed in it and a few pots in (such electricity voltage in norway as milk , tea powders and a few more). Next to the shop was the barbers it looked extraordinary colour full and bright opposite the barbers was the train station with manikin versions of evacuees . After that we saw a tobacconists shop e sampark electricity bill payment display and an example of a wardens office next to it was an example of a trench with plastic rats on top and fake barbed wire. After we saw a police box with a cop next to it wearing electricity worksheets grade 6 a gas mask later we went in to a shop with rationed looking food in it and then we all came back to the room we started in and watched a short film about Swansea back in the 1940s. Finally we had a quiz about ww2 in the 1940s then we went to the shop ( I got a school set and a ID card ) then we got back on the bus and got back at 3:30. I had a tone of fun at the museum it was extremely fun Id go the again if I could . More Show less
