Flights direct from the UK via Virgin or BA indirect flights by Delta, American Airlines, Aer Lingus & Canadian Airways All internal flights go to Orlando International Airport (MCO) or Sandford (SFO) (Tampa – 1 hours drive) Directions from Orlando and Sanford Airports: – Follow the signs for the GREENWAY route 417 South (Toll Road you will need some $1 bills – $3.75 altogether) Continue on the 417 until it merges with the Interstate 4 (I4) Signposted West to Tampa. Stay on the I4 to junction 58 (old 24). Exit on 58 (old 24) and turn left at traffic lights. Go straight across next traffic lights. Continue across traffic light (Lake Wilson Road). There is a Publix Supermarket on your right-hand side where you may want to stop to buy groceries. There is also a CVS Pharmacy on the left-hand side. Once across traffic light look out for the sub division (housing estate) Sandy Ridge just after Tanglewood sub division on your right. (If you go across railway lights, you have gone too far, turn round and go back). Turn right into Sandy Ridge, which is Sandy Ridge Blvd. Continue to the end of the road until you reach the Stop sign. Turn left at Stop sign into Royal Ridge Drive then first right into Scrub Jay Way and the house is on the right-hand side. Sandy Ridge is perfect, the area around is undeveloped, resulting in the feeling of a country retreat, yet the community is conveniently close to Junction 58 of the I4, giving access to Walt Disney World in less than 10 minutes. The 192 can be reached in just 10 minutes via a quiet local road. The Champions Gate development is just 2 minutes drive away and here you will find a Publix Supermarket, Macdonald’s, Subway, a BP gas station, banking facilities, Chinese takeaway and Italian Trattoria, both of whom provide delivery to the Sandy Ridge area. Other restaurants include Millar’s Ale House, Chillis and Wendys Golfers will find 2 Greg Norman designed courses and a David Leadbetter Golf Academy at Champions Gate.
