Anthony21’s controlled labs white flash log – bodybuilding.com forums k electric bill statement

I used the electric blender I got from Controlled Labs when I received Brain Wash and it worked nice for this. After mixing up there was some foaminess at the top that took a couple minutes to settle. Other than that it mixed pretty well with little to no residue at the bottom.

Upon smelling the powder I definitely got a sour apple scent that was pretty pleasant. The taste was pretty solid for the most part. I got the sour apple taste with a very very slight bitterness at the end of the gulp. This was more evident as I got down to my last couple of drinks. The flavor isn’t bad by any means and is easily drinkable. You should be reminded of a sour apple type taste.

White Flash contains 300mg of caffeine so I was surprised with how the energy didn‘t hit me right away. I finished my serving before heading to the gym. I was expecting to feel a rush of energy but didn’t at all. Instead it was more of a calm focus that came over me. I remember as I was driving I was just zoning out to the new J. Cole album and realized I was already at the gym.

While in the gym the energy didn‘t feel strong like I’ve experienced with other pre workouts. Again it was more of a calm focus type feeling I had. This was exactly how I felt when using White Flood. I wouldn’t get a dramatic increase in energy but as the training went on I just kept wanting to go on and on. This was the same thing that happened last night with White Flash.

It was an overall pretty solid first day and first impression with White Flash. I would say it’s very similar to White Flood with an increase improvement in regards to the pump. I’ll be posting my day 2 training from today after I get my 2 girls ready for bed.

I’ve been contemplating a lot if I’m running the right program and have been getting in my head a lot the past couple weeks. The thought I’ve had is since I’m not training specifically for a powerlifting meet why am I running a powerlifting peaking program.

I like Jim’s thoughts on training and his approach. You train to build up strength, not test it all the time with these 4,6 or 8 week peaking programs. So my plan is to just train to build strength with 5/3/1 for the long term. Now if I have a meet I sign up for i’ll either see about accomadating my training based on 5/3/1 or look into a peaking program but it’s 5/3/1 going forward.

Summary: I was just itching to start the new programming and decided to start it last night. I got off work at 5PM, hung out with the fam a little and headed to the gym. I had my 1 scoop of White Flash while I was helping my daughter with homework and before heading off to the gym.

I can say thus far that White Flash is one of those pre workouts that just works. What I mean is yet again I didn’t get an extreme surge of energy after consuming my serving. Instead I just felt calm and focused while driving to the gym. I was a bit tired prior to taking White Flash but by the time I got to the gym I just felt ready to go in this focused and relaxed state of mind.

This was the craziest my veins have been since using White Flash. The focus was top notch and the energy was just right and enough to get me through a good training session. I’m really loving White Flash so far and feel CL knocked it out the park.

Summary: Well that was a stupid idea to set up my deadlifts with the BBB 5×5 scheme (more on that in a moment). Leading up to this training session I felt pretty tired. This is from two reasons I believe. First I had to wake up at 5:00 AM for work. Second is I think the built up fatigue from my previous training session caught up with me seeing that the squat volume on that previous program was high.

These two things together made for this workout feeling heavy in weight and feeling like sh!t. I figured I’d be able to knock out more than 6 reps on my 5+ set on squats. My body pretty much told me F you it’s not happening. I capped it at 6 and didn’t push for more.

Deadlifts felt heavy as sh!t too and felt way too much of a struggle early on into a 5/3/1 cycle. Three things I’m gong to do to accomdate this. I lowered my training max for this first cycle and used 85% of my max for my squat and deadlift. I’m then going to restart this cycle this Sunday that way it better fits my work schdule and life. The third thing is I set up my squat workout to be Squats 5/3/1 followed by the First Set Last Set protocol for them. On my deadlift day I’ll do the normal Deadlift 5/3/1 set up with Safety Bar Squats BBB 5X5. These three things should help out.

I had my 1 scoop of WF in 12 oz of cold water. The flavor is something I look forward to now. The focus hit immediately and my mood was lifted by the time I got to the gym. It sucks my strength was shot this day but work was done in the gym and that’s all I can ask for.
