Awesome service! – review of wild wings safaris, kruger national park, south africa – tripadvisor electricity definition wikipedia

We were initially a group of three planning to go on a safari in Kruger Park. We knew we wanted free and easy, we wanted to drive on our own. There were too many choices for a safari stay, so we decided to check with Wild Wings if they could tailor a trip for us. We corresponded with Madi, who was very patient with us. Everything was explained thoroughly, even amidst a flurry (more like a bombardment) of emails from both me my partner especially. After changing our minds countless of times, we decided to book a sedan stay with Naledi Bush Lodge, which was recommended by Madi electricity in water experiment. Two weeks before the trip, we had another interested friend who wanted to join, so everything had to be recalculated, but was handled perfectly by Madi. Everything went smooth, getting the sedan from the rental company (Budget Car Rentals) was quick easy, the 5-hours drive from Jo’burg to Kruger was breezy, the safari was top notch (please read my reviews on Naledi Bush Lodge!). Madi also helped us book a rental car for the second leg of our trip in Cape Town. We recommend Wild Wings Safari to our friends to you. More Show less

Hands down the trip of a lifetime. Booking was easy, with the office quickly and fully answering all my many questions 101 gas station as an American traveling to South Africa for the first time. They even helped us with finding train schedules/finding transportation in Johannesburg after our trip. Our adventure began when Simon picked us up at our Johannesburg hotel and drove us up the 5 hour route to Kruger. Along the way, we asked him question after question, and learned so much about animals, safaris, and South Africa in general. The countryside on the drive is beautiful, passing fruit groves, animal preserves with zebras and rhinos literally outside a gas station stop, etc. When we arrived in Kruger, we immediately started seeing animals – we literally saw the big 5 within our first afternoon (granted, we were probably lucky, but Simon is also just gas finder map that good). Throughout our trip, we were one of the first to come across mating lions, where Simon strategically lined us up to be in their path as the (often disrespectful others) made them uncomfortable and move on to a new location gas finder. He did the same with an amazing leopard, pulling off to a side road and anticipating its path, right into our direction. We saw a huge clan of elephants, that I swear Simon communicated with. Giraffe, baby lions, a family of hyena with 3 pups, a mom and baby rhino, water buffalo, wildebeest, warthogs, baboons, those cute little monkey guys whose scientific name I forgot, zebras – even if we saw them multiple times, it never got old. The vehicles were comfortable, our morning and afternoon journeys were plenty of time to see what we wanted and also build in a nap. It’s important to note, Simon is actually a really amazing cook. Our favorite times were sitting out on the porch of our hut, taking in the outdoors, talking with Simon while he whipped up ostrich or stir fry, eggs and bacon – they were literally our favorite meals in South Africa. He provided everything. One side note – I’m a huge wuss when it comes to bugs. While the huts are air conditioned with showers, beds, and way nicer than likely all other camping accommodations, there are still a handful of bugs gas x and pregnancy. If you don’t have a severe fear, you’re fine (my husband LOVED it). If you do hate bugs as much as me, ask upon booking for different accommodation options – I’m still not sure if I would have given up the hut and Simon’s cooking for a hotel, though (seriously, that good). Most importantly, we learned Simon’s massive respect for the animals, and hopefully brought that home with us. Down to the smallest gas station car wash bird (he is an avid birder), he notices everything, and taught us so much (did you know a group of zebras is a dazzle?) 🙂 He even taught us the game of cricket! HE is really who made our trip absolutely spectacular, and 6 months later, we still talk about how much we miss Simon. Even if he never wears shoes 😉 It was the trip gas in california of a lifetime, and Wild Wings Safaris and Simon is literally the best I could ever imagine. Thank you, thank you for the perfect Honeymoon. Ben and Marissa Tario 🙂

We were finishing off a motor bike trip around South Africa and wanted to finish with a few days at Kruger. After doing research on Tripadvisor and other sites, I contacted Madi at Wild Wings Safaris and she was very helpful in putting together an itinerary that fitted our dates and suited our budget. Everything was planned in detail for us and it all worked perfectly. She organised a nice transit hotel near JNB airport, transfers, connections, directions. The lodge she chose, Arathusa in Sabi Sands was wonderful, exceeded expectations. We were booked into standard thatched rondavels which we would call luxurious, on the edge of a water hole with resident hippos. The morning and evening safaris with Dries the ranger and Derrick the tracker were something we will never forget, they went off road into the bush and tracked so many animals, esp leopards up close. Meals by chef Malcolm were delicious, one dinner was a braai in the bush with a huge bonfire, oil lamps, white tablecloths and electricity number a full moon! We highly recommend this company and Madi excelled with her advice, organising and communication.
