This Hyatt resort is very pretty, the grounds are beautiful and there is a wow factor upon arriving… I loved the open air lobby… see my photos of all the pretty landscape around the resort. We arrived at around 12:30pm on Saturday and there was no line at check in. The check in staff were nice enough but I think there’s room for improvement in terms of them electricity and magnetism review game being warm and welcoming. We went to lunch and our room was ready around 2:30pm. We booked a suite and loved the room for our family of four. The kids absolutely loved this resort- Great water slide, koi fish, swans, birds, pools, swim up bar for smoothies. The resort offers lots of food choices plus walking distance to outdoor plaza and other hotels and restaurants. Good size resort, easy to get around, feels safe for kids. We also y gasset stayed at another hotel in this visit (Marriott Surf Club) and had to get used to the pool and beach chair systems at both resorts. In the end it was fine for the pool (we don’t make camp at beach) but it’s not what we’re used to where you can just show up in the AM and claim your seats. Overall we much preferred the Hyatt. Some things that I didn’t love electricity for beginners – the beach in Palm Beach is narrow and crowded and I found the water to be blue but cloudy. Not necessarily a Hyatt thing but having never been to Aruba I expected more of a tropical amazing beach. I didn’t feel it was much better than Florida. They impose a 15% service charge on all food and drink transactions but then also leave a place on the bill for gratuity and a little card with an explanation that servers only get 12%. I found this awkward and stressful each time we signed our bill. Please either just do a full 18-20% and no additional gratuity or allow the customer to determine the full gratuity. On the pool deck and also the beach, chairs and Palapas are packed too close together (same at Marriott). Hyatt is building another pool so I hope they will space out the chairs better in the family areas once that happens. There was turn down service but no chocolates. The shampoo electricity transformer near house and conditioner were low quality and I’d bring my own next time. Housekeeping did always leave a bunch of towels for us which was nice. The kids “game room” is a small dark windowless room in the basement and we didn’t use it at all because it was almost creepy to go into the basement and I definitely wouldn’t leave the kids there. And Camp Hyatt Room was also in the basement and more bright and cheery but can only be used by reservation so was electricity song 2015 a wasted amenity for us. There was daily bingo which was fun and the koi fish feedings and ice pops which my kids loved so we were always busy! Overall I think we’d return to this resort if returning to Aruba…

The grounds were gorgeous! There are several pools to choose from. Exotic, well cared for birds on display. One had an immense vocabulary! The spa was well appointed. My husband and I had massages and both therapists were great. The casino was a decent size. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was nice. Our shower had a rain style sprayer, but it was almost flush with the floor, so water soaked the floor mat every time we showered. The couple we traveled with didn’t have this situation in their room. My only other complaint was that gas number the vanity was almost non-existent. Not a lot of room for toiletries, flat iron, etc. There were several restaurant options and all were quite good! In addition to the restaurants, there was a smoothie bar and a quasi Starbucks. What I mean by that is that you could get Starbucks drinks, but not the full food menu. Beautiful palapas were available on the beach, but during busing season be prepared to arrive between 6:45 and 7:00 to wait in line gas monkey monster truck body until the desk opens at 7:30 to reserve one. It was still worth it. The resort also offered floats for free, which was very nice. Overall, the place was pretty amazing and we had a great time.
