Best stay in nepal – review of hotel blossom, pokhara, nepal – tripadvisor la t gastrobar opiniones

I truly love this hotel. From the moment we walked in to the sorry to leave check out time, Binita, Laxmi and Nd Pahari and truly the nicest owners that I have ever met. They really care about their business and did the utmost to help all their customers . I love their enthusiasm. They welcomed us warmly. Served us cool drinks on a somewhat sultry day. They listened with a big smiles our needs and what we would like to do and offered suggestions. For example we booked 3 nights but on the 2nd night, we decided to go to Dhampus and spend the night there. We tried to cancel one night from booking.com but we have to pay a cancellation fee. Then Laxmi said it is fine. It is up to them whether they want to charge us a cancellation fee and they are not going to charge us so go ahead and stay in Dhampus. I was truly touch by the act of kindness. They lost money because we stayed one night less but they were not angry or bothered by it. They just wanted to please us so we can have a good time there. On another occasion we wanted to go up to the temple across the lake. The sky was dark and Laxmi /Nd and Binita suggested that we waited one hour before getting a taxi and sure enough within half an hour, the sky opened up and it was pouring mad.So glad they made this suggestion. I saw Nd and Binita cleaning out the gutter and street in front of the ir hotel. Great job there ! On my last night I had diarrhea. I saw Binita early in the morning and she was in her school uniform ready for class and she offered me a rehydration pack. On our last night, we lost power and informed Nd . My room didn’t have backup light and Nd powered up their backup generator. We booked our bus ride to Chitwan National park and pleased with their choice of the bus company. The hotel is quite new. Inside the room was bottled water and small basket of fruit ( I have never had any fruit basket in all my at least 60 hotel stays ). The bathroom is the usual entire floor wet after shower but the floor dried quickly. There was no elevator but it was perfectly fine with me. It is definitely not a negative. The shower was hot and strong. The room has plenty of lights. The balcony has excellent view . We had a Mountain View for 1 night and city view room for the last night and the city view we saw a sliver of the lake. The bed was comfortable. The WiFi worked good. I really like the family. They are really friendly and welcoming . This is definitely the best boutique ( 12 rooms ) hotel that I stayed in in Nepal and elsewhere. . Oh, there is a security guard at night so it is very safe and the location can’t be beat. It’s minutes away from restaurants, market and the main business area. Thanks Binita, Laxmi and N d , their mom and the uncle. You have made this a special place to stay and you are truly exceptional .

Stayed with my mom for 2 nights while we were trekking in Pokhara. The staff are really friendly and what I particularly appreciated is that the hotel is very upfront about what you can get. They definitely don’t want you to be disappointed later. I thought it was excellent value for money. Although I have rated it 5* (because they were open about these lack of services), I would let other travellers know that it is very difficult to pay for (and confirm) your room as they don’t have a clear online pay option (even if you are willing to pay the extra gateway charges). We struggled for the payment into their bank account and there was no available phone number to call and get the bookings sorted, which resulted in a lot of time wasted trying to arrange things by text and email. Whatsapp/ facebook accounts being checked regularly would really help here or having clear pay options through booking.com etc etc/ even paypal. There is also no kitchen service, for lunch or dinner (unless booked well in advance), but there are plenty of options nearby and we enjoyed exploring dining options near the lakeside. The hotel is family run and since everyone is super friendly and willing to guide you to the right kind of places, this actually seemed like a bonus to me.
