Our water is unique in that it comes from special natural hot and cold aquifers, separate from the rest of the Palm Springs area. It has won ‘Best Tasting Municipal Drinking Water’ in International competitions. The drinking water in our house and even the water in our pool and spa originate from the Desert Hot Springs Aquifer. Our home is in the ‘Spa Zone’; the water 150 feet below our house is naturally heated by ancient geothermal forces below the earth’s surface to as much as 180 degrees, however, as a residential house we are not allowed to tap into the water that is already heated (it’s reserved for the Spas), so our pool/spa water is efficiently heated by a natural gas heater. Hot or cold, for centuries, this water has been believed to hold curative powers. When the first scientific analysis of the hot mineral water was performed in 1937, its therapeutic value was medically affirmed. Today Desert Hot Springs features 20 Spas, and you can even walk to several for our home, including: Swiss Health Resort, Sea Mountain Lifestyle Resort, and Miracle Springs Spa. World famous Spas like Two Bunch Palms and We Care Spa are a short drive away.

The photos and description on this page represent exactly what you expect when you walk in the door. So it was wonderful to not have any disappointing surprises. We were a group of 5 thirty somthing guys looking to have a relaxing weekend getaway by the pool. We never left the house. The living room was perfect, with more tv channels than anyone needs, the kitchen was modern and had all the appliances. We used the grill, which has a gas hookup into the house so you knew there was not going to be an issue with a propane tank being empty. (However the fire pit tank was empty, but we never asked for it to be filled. I’m sure if we had, Corey would have been right over) Could use some new grill tools though. We couldn’t find any. I have to give a shoutout to the Master bed. The sheets were like butter and the mattress was perfectly soft. Like sleeping on a cloud. That matched with the blackout curtains made it absolutely amazing. A/C worked fantastic throughout the house. Another review mentioned about the tiles outside the door leading to the pool are super slippery when wet, so be aware of that. Children should wear water shoes for sure. Overall this house was the perfect place for us because we had no desire to go anywhere.
