Big industry coming to greenville news c gastronomie mariage

During Monday’s announcement, the company said it is pleased to be working with Hunt County and the city of Greenville on a partnership expected to bring approximately 125 new jobs to the area over the next three years. The plant is expected to be the company’s first North American facility to offer 100 percent compostable food packaging.

“The Hunt County Commissioners approved a State of Texas Chapter 312 50% county tax abatement on a new building construction and new equipment purchase and installation for 10 years to recruit the company. They also approved a State of Texas Chapter 381 Hunt County Economic Development Agreement for 20 years.”

The Greenville City Council had a closed door executive session included as part of Tuesday’s regular session agenda. where it intended to meet under Texas Government Code Section 551.087, which allows for the discussion or deliberation regarding commercial or financial information that the governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body is conducting development negotiations; and (2) Deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect.In this case the prospect involved an area south of Greenville Sports Park.
