Blue bay beach villa curacao – vrbo electricity 4th grade powerpoint

Eric was extremely responsive and accommodating, especially since we made an unintentional error in our booking. He made us feel very very welcomed. The villa was meticulously clean. The beds were very comfortable, and along with the AC and ceiling fans made for a great night’s sleep. The villa was perfect for our party of one adult and 4 teenagers.

The third bedroom was tinier than expected, but that is the case with all the villas of the same design at the resort. But it was never an issue because we found ourselves at the villa only to sleep. After a day at the beach, it was great to have dinner on the huge deck and then stroll down to the tiki bar almost every night where we enjoyed meeting locals and others vacationing at the resort.

Though we highly recommend touring the island and visiting other beaches, there is no reason to leave the resort as there is scuba diving, paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkeling at very reasonable prices. Curaçao is extremely rocky … more so than other Caribbean Islands we visited. And that includes the beaches. It took a day or two of getting used … but nothing that a pair of water shoes can’t solve.

The only issue we encountered … one day there were two tour buses that dropped off folks for a day trip to the beach. So it was more crowded than we hoped for a vacation. But, again, that was only one day during our visit, and the buses departed around 2 so we had a quiet afternoon. Though we only dipped our feet in the pool, it’s great for the little ones.

The taxis are very expensive and we recommend renting a car. Try a local rental place, a family staying across the way paid significantly less than we did. We rented with Avis, which we do not recommend because of both the condition of the car and the customer service.

And the price of the Villa was very reasonable given all that it and the resort offered. Just a word of advice, Curaçao is one of the more expensive Caribbean Islands we have visited. So eating out everyday if you are on a budget is not an option.

The villa is located in Blue Bay Beach resort in Curacao. It is a quick 7 minute drive from the airport. You definitely need to rent a car at the airport to feel independent on the island. The villa has convenient parking and is centrally situated so any day trip or half-day trip is easy to take. However, you might want to consider just staying put! The villa itself is spacious, airy, and delightful! The terrace is perfect for having a family meal or share a bottle of wine. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything one might need on a vacation. Bedrooms are simply decorated and furnished, but have absolutely everything for a good night sleep. Pillows and mattresses are truly comfortable! Bathrooms have excellent showers. As wonderful as the villa is, I recommend exploring the beach and everything else the resort has to offer. The 3 minute walk from the villa to beach takes you along a beautifully landscaped path through the property. On the way you can enjoy magnolias, agave plants, and the bright colors of bougainvillea. You will walk along the golf course and two lakes that are homes to pink flamingos, white egrets, gray herons, and pelicans. The Blue Bay Beach fascinates with its turquoise water, white sand, and excellent snorkeling. There is a terrific dive shop right on the beach that offers scuba lessons and all types of sea trips as well as snorkeling gear. Azzura restaurant had good breakfast and lunch, but snacks need significant improvement. The Sunset Bar and Grill offers delicious dinners with a perfect view of the sunset and the sea. If you decide to cook, you can be at a local supermarket in less than 5 minutes to purchase freshly baked baguettes, croissants, and any other foods you wish. We couldn not have had a better stay. It was completely delightful in every way!
