The 2018 Municipal Budget has been introduced and sent to the State for review and approval. This budget will receive a public hearing and public presentation at a later date once returned from the State Treasury. To review the budget, please visit the budget committee page.

We’ve been working to try to improve the content available on our website as we make strides to improve borough internet technologies. The homepage is designed to highlight new updates and point you to these new areas. All other areas should offer information and resources and we’ve tasked many of the departments in the borough to provide more information to residents. We’re in the process of updating the DPW page, Building Department page, Police page, Department of Parks & Recreation page, Administration page, and many others. As we continue to build out information available on our website, we are looking to provide additional modern features we hope to implement later this year such as a more robust calendar and other user-specific pages. Additionally, we now provide a form to make website update requests to assist commissions, departments, and others to request changes. This will eventually be converted into a digital form like others in our new FILE•it service.

The 2018 curb & sidewalk program is now accepting applications, with a July 15th deadline. In addition, our Spring Shade Tree planting program "Plant One On Us" is accepting applications with an April 15th deadline. There’s no better way to have your sidewalks installed or redone than with this new program. And don’t miss the opportunity to add to the shade covering and urban forest in the borough!

The Communication Committee is proud to share their new guide for welcoming community organizations to submit to the Monthly Buzz and other mediums. Their main goal is to continue to improve the quality of information residents receive, ensuring they know of events, programs, and services available to them. We welcome you to learn more.
