It’s tax time again: 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays through April 9 by appointment. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free, individualized tax preparation for low to moderate income taxpayers at the Senior Center. Call 781-828-1323 to make an appointment. Participants must also pick up an intake form which must be filled out prior to their tax appointment.

Health Plan Options for People with Medicare: 1 p.m. April 9. The seminar will explain health insurance options, including the rules for Medicare. It will include explanation of Medicare Parts electricity sources in us A, B and C; Medicare enrollment timeline; Medigap plans that help supplement Medicare coverage; Medicare Advantage plans such as HMOs and PPOs; and Medicare Part D prescription plans. Regain Your Balance Program: 11 a.m. April 18 and 25, and May 2, 9, 16 and 23. Class taught by Steve Avellino, a certified fitness instructor. This is a structural, action-based program to help participants regain their balance. Work on balance, center of mass over base of support; sense of balance, joints and muscles communicating with the brain; and proprioception, the body knowing where it is in space, to improve electricity definition wikipedia posture, strengthen stabilizer muscles, improve motor control and regain balance. Each session includes gentle chair stretching, breathing practices, guided relaxation and a 15-minute meditation practice. This class for both beginners and those with some meditation experience. There will also be time for questions and answers. Presented by the Residence at Five Corners, Hahn Home Health Services and Old Colony Hospice. Registration is required.

Zumba Gold: 1 p.m. Mondays and 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays. The Zumba Gold fitness program is designed to meet the needs of the aging population. Like the traditional Latin-inspired Zumba workout, the Zumba Gold workout incorporates many of the dance/fitness routines set to Latin and international rhythms but is performed at a lower electricity production by state intensity.
