Casa de sol on seaside – vrbo jokes gas prices

A northerly aspect ensures plenty of sunshine and cool summer breezes. There are plenty of indoor/outdoor spaces for your enjoyment. The house opens onto a front deck through large doors bringing the outdoors inside and creating one open space for kitchen, dining and lounge areas. there is a second living area that overlooks the garden whilst all the queen- size bedrooms have views of either the ocean or the garden. The house is a great space all year round. The front deck is ideal for a leisurely breakfast or evening drinks; the alfresco area for afternoon siestas or barbecuing the freshly caught fish for dinner, and and garden offers a green retreat from the outside world. During summer the house becomes a pad for summer activities, relaxing and entertaining. The north-east breeze keeps the house cool and all the doors and windows are fitted with screens. (In the cooler months the house is flooded in northern sun).

There are plenty of outdoor activities within easy walking distance. It only a 5 or 10 minute walk to surf breaks, beaches, rock pools, Burrill Lake, Meroo National Park, the grocery store and cafe, and the fish’n’chip shop. Activities such as surfing, diving, fishing, boating, sailing, hiking (Pigeon House Mountain and Meroo National Park) and golf. Point North East, Pot Holes, Dolphin Point and Wairo Beach and Tabourie are all easily accessible by foot or car. Across the street there is an open grass area perfect for flying kites or playing ball games.

All bedding is of good quality, as are the towels and furnishings. Decor may change according to the seasons and we may make improvements but it will always be within the same style. We have a chemical-free household and all cleaning is done in this manner. A cleaning fee is not added as we trust you will treat our home with respect (though you are responsible for any damages or extensive cleaning).

The entire house and garden are for your enjoyment though the garage is private. There may be an occasion where access is needed and notice will be given prior. There is off-street parking and plenty of parking is available in the front of the house.

Even during the busy period of Christmas and the summer holidays Dolphin Point is not overly crowded. There is plenty of space and everyone is relaxed. We enjoy walking and riding our pushbikes to the National Park and the beaches to the south whilst only using the car to go shopping in Ulladulla, an outing to Milton, or Mollymook and Narrawallee beaches. In Ulladulla you will find big-name shops and a beautiful harbour. In Milton Village there are great cafes and small boutique shops as well as the Milton Theatre, bars, pubs and restaurants, and a monthly market. There are several clubs in the area all of which have free bus services and Mollymook Golf Club has two courses for the golf lovers. Mollymook is also famous for Bannisters, which includes Rick Steins restaurant, the Pool Bar and the Pavilion, as well as Tallwoods. Cupitts Winery, situated between Milton and Ulladulla, has wonderful views of the countryside. Closer to home and at the rear of the property there is a Vinyasa yoga studio with classes most days, SUP lessons on Burrill Lake, and mini-golf.

If you have no access to a vehicle but would still like to stay we can arrange for a pick-up from the bus stop in Burrill Lake or Ulladulla and help you buy supplies. The bus stop for buses from Sydney and Melbourne is only a 10 minute walk away. View more
