Rabbit Hollow is absolutely adorable – it was just what my family of 5 plus our dog needed! We spent 3 nights here and we all kept saying to each other how much we enjoyed going back to the house at the end of a day of exploring because it was so cozy! My 2 girls shared the upstairs room which was like their own hideaway (with their very own TV!) and my son took one of the bedrooms downstairs off of the kitchen. The cottage has everything you need (cocoa, popcorn, smores fixings and even an apple pie!). We did so many fun things – we drove in to downtown Asheville (just 15 min. away) and enjoyed the yummy food (Tupelo Honey’s fried chicken for lunch was a hit!), the Pinball Museum was a blast and we even took our dog to the Three Dog Bakery for some special treats! We did a house tour of the Biltmore (get the kids the audio headsets – it kept them engaged the whole time and was funny!), visited the winery and ended our stay with a hike and fishing at the waterfalls of Dupont State Forest. Thank you Ray and Vikki for making us feel so at home and making sure we were well taken care of! We plan to return again soon!
