Cozy and private 4br lakefront family home… – vrbo gas tax

Enjoy all that the lake life has to offer in quiet Timberlake Village. This two story traditional lakeside home is located at the 38th mile marker in Porter Mill Hollow Cove. It provides a cozy living space for 11 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Unwind at your lake house getaway with this quiet, private property. With woods framing one side and no passing traffic, your vacation here will be perfect to distress from life.

Each floor has two bedrooms and one bath, and every bedroom contains a queen sized bed. There is a sofa sleeper in the lower floor family room with a queen sized memory foam mattress. Folding roll-out bed is available. The top floor hosts the full kitchen complete with an oven, stove-top, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker along with stocked silverware, drink ware and dishes. Windows cover the wall, providing ample natural light to the dining table in the cozy kitchen. Both floors have large family rooms with beautiful views of the lake and plenty of sunlight during the day. The common areas provide an abundance of indoor entertainment with the one on the top floor containing a TV, atop a new infrared fireplace, with an array of movies and DVD player and access to local channels while the one on the lower level has a game table. Washer, dryer, and iron with ironing board are located in the utility room in the lower level.

On the warm summer days, take a few steps down to the private dock hosting two wells, one with a lift. The property also has its own private boat ramp. Bring your own boat or rent one from nearby marinas ( closest one is Pirates Point 15 minutes away by car). Enjoy a boat ride around the lake or dine at waterfront restaurants such as Captain Ron or others. The 140 feet of waterfront is perfect for swimming and fishing. Cool off on the water with kayaks and a paddle-boat, but bring your own beach towels. At the end of the day, relax by the new stone fire pit to tell campfire stories or roast some marshmallows, but please buy your firewood from the Ozark area to prevent invasive species and tree disease. After an early morning fishing, cook your catch on the new gas grill available on the top deck. Both decks are furnished and ready for some relaxation any time of the day complete with beautiful views of the lake and a cool breeze. There is enough parking area for 4 cars.

OUTSIDE: In addition to swimming off of the dock we also enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddle boat many times over. The dock is the last one near the end of the cove, resulting in little to no boat traffic. We didn’t have any other boaters or swimmers in our area, other than our own, our entire stay. We also enjoyed the fire pit morning and evening as my brother treated us to his campfire cooking skills for morning coffee, breakfast and home made fresh peach cobbler for dessert one evening.

INSIDE: Two of the four bedrooms (one up/one down), were large enough to accommodate our two pack-n-plays for the little ones to sleep in, plus an infant swing. There is also plenty of closet/drawer space in all four bedrooms. We also appreciated the large closet space in the bathrooms, with spacious shelving for organizing all of our cosmetic/toiletry items. The kitchen was also very adequate. We mainly served from the kitchen and ate outside on the spacious deck.

2. It would feel safer if the stone path to the fire pit were converted to stone steps and had some soft path lighting to light the way at night. It is worth the effort to make it down the path but I suggest wearing a shoe vs flip flop type of sandal and take a flashlight.
