The guide does not eat with the tourists ! We explain that we understand but we definitely prefer what he had. It was too late anyway. We ve never been asked what we wanted, but the meal we had was about 65 cents ( 30 baths). The one the guide had was 1,15 euros (50 baths)

First… No doubt northern mountains of Thailand are amazing, but this is definitely not the tour company to discover them Read carefully about this marketing Eco friendly tour : here is the reality After giving away our passports for photocopy!!!!!! The one the guide had was 1,15 euros (50 baths) First night in a home stay in the middle of nowhere All the tourists sleep on the FLOOR with a worn out sleeping bag, the family who receive us have other rooms with mattresses. OK !!!! First morning we are asked to go to the school to interrupt the teacher in the middle of the class (who is unwilling but used to that and have no Choice apparently ) then the ceremonial of the white man giving candies can take place. We are back in the 40/50s at the end la gas prices average of the colonial empire Increible. We thought it would be like that and refuse to participate ! And saw the teacher the night before ( at our arrival) to give him some materials that might be useful. We are impressed by the commitment of the government into the school system Then, a day of trekking that was definitely hard hiking, so we find out that our normal shoes where slippery all the time with more than 20 degrees slopes ( up and down), at a moment we were really tired and clearly not prepared for that, we ask information about time left , difficulties… hundreds of confused informations were given … that worries us and say ok we might give up then The answer is we are hp gas online booking phone number in the middle of nowhere 4/5 hours of everything without any mobile connection Imagine just a sec what could happen in case of accident, just a small accident even not a big one Second night in a cabin without water, electricity. We thoroughly enjoyed the two day trek despite the rain and need la t gastrobar opiniones to change plans. On the first day the morning was spent driving to the vicinity of the Karen village where we would stay. On the way we bought our food for the rest of the trip. As others have mentioned the trekking can be challenging, especially in the rainy season. The track was slippery in places and the bamboo sticks provided as the start of the walk were a welcome aid. The second days trek involves multiple river crossings. Our guide decided on an alternative route to avoid this given the rain. Another party followed the original plan. We could only go with the guide’s advice as the river is muddy and there is no way to know how deep it is or what the footing is like unless you have experienced it. We thoroughly enjoyed our homestay, but do believe others might well have struggled. We had done this previously in Vietnam and had sleeping mats, an indoor toilet and a table and chairs. You need to be prepared for none of these at your homestay on this trek. Our house was gas bubble in chest and back an excellent cook and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. We also enjoyed the chance to meet some of the local children. All in all a memorable experience.
