Enel Green Power was founded on 1 December 2008 to concentrate all of Enel’s activities in the production of renewable energy. On 11 November 2014, the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma filed suit against Enel’s subsidiary Osage Wind LLC, an 84-turbine industrial wind project in Osage County, Okla.
