As I drove up the road to the Timbrook Guesthouse, I already felt at ease being able to escape from my busy life for a few days. Pulling into the driveway, it felt like I entered a new world. We were greeted at the door by Jill, who was such a blessing to meet! Her passion for hospitality, cooking, gardening, and taking care of her loved ones…including the gorgeous birds is something to admire!

The house itself will make you want to take time to explore because you will see items you’ve never seen before and decor that works so perfectly together in such a unique way. My mom and I spent time in the main living room just chatting over coffee (there are great K-cup options!!) and reading quotes out of the box on the trunk. We did have plans to shop in Columbus that morning after our wonderful bike ride in the park right across the street..bikes provided…but we decided to stay in the back yard enjoying the sun, the greenhouse, the tropical birds, & each other’s company. We knew this was a special place and we wanted to take time to enjoy it and breathe it in.

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and kept us full into a good part of the day! The eggs come from Jill’s girls, the hens, in the back yard! In the afternoon, we had homemade cookies and some more coffee! We… As I drove up the road to the Timbrook Guesthouse, I already felt at ease being able to escape from my busy life for a few days. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and slept wonderfully in our spacious room, The West Wing Suite. We have decided that Timbrook will be our secret getaway when we crave a refresher! It was such a pleasant experience and Jill is such a joy to be around! We loved sharing in her enjoyment of her surroundings. You will not be disappointed if you visit Timbrook! It’s a getaway you never knew you needed until you experience it. Thank you Jill and we will see you soon! More Show less

This was our second stay at the Timbrook, and I am perhaps even more impressed this time than I was the last. One of the reasons my wife and I primarily stay at B&B’s when we travel is because the cleanliness is generally better than an equivalent priced hotel, and the ambiance and grounds are more enjoyable and picturesque. In this area, Jill and Peter (and their staff) continue to amaze. Seriously, staying at the Timbrook feels like you’ve stumbled into some bizarre alternate universe where things like dust, lint, or water spots on faucets don’t exist. Our room, the common areas, and the grounds were spotless – – there wasn’t even any pollen dust on the adirondack I enjoyed in the back yard (and this was the height of spring!). I’m genuinely not sure how they do it, because this is a busy place! The weekend before our arrival had a full house of guests, and there was a rather substantial addition/renovation being performed in the main living area of the house, with no noise or clutter generated at all. Jill, if you care to share, I would love to know the secret behind a silent, dust-free construction project! Check out my previous review for additional details, but rest assured nothing as changed as far as the quality and style of the Timbrook. We even left with a potted plant courtesy of Jill, because my wife had mentioned that she liked a particular type of flower that was growing in a side garden. Really above and beyond, but status quo for the Timbrook! Thanks for another great stay, and we both hope to come back in the near future.
