The main building has a great entrance – the creme de la creme of British motoring, just five or six exhibits that gas yourself alone tell the whole story of our motoring history. The same entrance also hosts the gift shop, a family room and some interactive exhibits for kids. We stopped for a few minutes to watch a brilliant graphic show the number of car factories and their output over each decade since manufacturing started in the 1890s. We were pretty much alone as most people headed straight to the main event.

The body of the museum is an open space laid save electricity pictures out in zones each celebrating a different aspect of the British Car Industry. On the top floor, there are few things to see as the space is given over to conference and meeting spaces, but there is a nice little cafe with good value offerings. The second building is more of a place for enthusiasts and I confess to sitting down and checking my email gas in oil pan as sir peered into the windows of numerous vehicles. The ground floor is the Jaguar Heritage collection. A fine array of beautiful motors parked up, but ready to return to the main body of the museum or head out on the road. Upstairs you can peer into the workshop (less interesting on a Sunday as the mechanics were not working). You can also wander through and around five rows of vehicles. These (mainly) cars give an insight into the range of vehicles we have designed and made in the UK. I am sure there are many times as many not represented, but we have to remember that these cars have survived decades of use and neglect and have been donated to the museum. We are classic mini owners and decided to visit this show as heard good things about the event and of course the museum has some lovely examples of minis. Was very disappointed to see the new layout of the museum. In the original building the first mini off production line was scratched and damaged very sad to see as this was the revolutionary design of small cars , then in the new building the last mini off production line squeezed up against another car. Scratches on the wing and generally unprotected. Not to be biased electricity for dummies pdf this was the same with all the other cars. It’s a nice idea being able to be up close to classic cars or your favourite make of car but people don’t have any respect for the heritage. Children touching the cars, people pushing. It’s such a shame for such a lovely museum to feel they need to push all our motoring heritage into basically one area. Where it can be damaged. Also within the new building electricity jewels there is 3 unisex toilets which were very dirty. Food was very over priced too. So disappointed.

Firstly, we apologise about the condition of the toilets. Due to the additional footfall from the show that day, the facilities fell below our usual high standard. It was brought to the attention of the General Manager and has identified a training need which will be addressed immediately. Our new Collection Centre has allowed us to provide public access to our world j gastrointest surg impact factor reserve collection, which was previously hidden away from public view. While the opening of the new building has doubled our display capacity, it is essentially a store and therefore does not have the same level of interpretation you will find in our main Museum. This is why you will find the Collection electricity jokes riddles Centre vehicles parked side by side – so we can maximise the space we have and display the entirety of our reserve collection. It is worth noting that cars are regularly rotated between the Museum and Collection Centre. The Trust’s primary function is to preserve and protect our motoring heritage, especially the rare and significant vehicles it holds within the Museum. While some are kept in pristine condition, in some cases the scratches and bumps from a vehicle’s previous life are a big part of its story and are therefore also conserved. Our visitors are mostly very appreciative of the opportunity to get up close to the cars and are very careful to respect them. If this was not the case on the day of your visit it may be that we need to review our procedures on Show days.
