I had the pleasure of working with Mauricio for one full week during my recent visit to Armenia, Quindio, Colombia. The purpose of my visit was to interview and document the work of several charitable foundations, visit with families in their homes and neighborhoods, conduct extensive video interviews and photography. As a person who did not speak, read or understand any Spanish, the role of a qualified and competent Spanish-English-Spanish translator was critical to this project. I was highly fortunate to work with Mauricio Cortes for the week as he was a high-value contributor to our project. Mauricio’s grasp and competence of English is excellent — he is 100 percent fluent in English, and Spanish is his native language so his skill as a translator is ideal. Mauricio also has deep insight into the area, both inside the city and outside of the city. He provided helpful and interesting history k gas constant and perspective on locations, people and events. For my interviews going back and forth with numerous subjects, Mauricio kept the conversations moving smoothly and enjoyably with his confident and competent translation abilities. He also helped greatly by taking 7 cases movie photos and video as part of the team. Due to the nature of my work, the demands on performance, professionalism and trustworthiness are high for our team and Mauricio was a welcome addition who contributed greatly to our work. His friendly yet professional demeanor helped quickly put our interview subjects at ease,… I had the pleasure of working with Mauricio for one full week during my recent visit to Armenia, Quindio, Colombia. For example, Mauricio was able to acquire a professional wireless microphone for our video interviews on very short notice, and had it in our hands in only one hour (Yes, one hour!). Thanks to his being so established in the region, he connected us with a professional studio who let us borrow their expensive equipment as a professional courtesy – something we never would have been able to do as tourists. Also, Mauricio’s expertise as a web developer was helpful in keeping our project moving along. I recommend Mauricio without hesitation to anyone in need of a high-quality translator, tour guide and/or technical expert. More Show less

It all started by looking some pictures of Quindio’s landscape and in no time i came in contact electricity diagram flow with the friendly Mauricio. My friend and I had a great day mountain biking in Quindío with Mauricio. Once we got to the coffee region and saw the hilly terrain, we were a bit apprehensive about the difficulty, but as soon as he picked us up from our hostel, he made us feel at ease (and also had some appropriate cycling gear for us to change into!). He’s incredibly friendly and welcoming, and also super fun to be around. Along the way we learned about some history, culture and nature and even some Colombian slang! He gave us lots of local insight that would accompany us throughout our time in Colombia. His enthusiasm for mountain biking and the region was infectious. The cycling was electricity pictures information definitely challenging with some long climbs, but Mauricio was super encouraging throughout the way (as another reviewer said, he could be a life coach!), and in the end we felt grateful for the experience. The region is beautiful, and going through the country roads is a great way to see it, from the top of the mountains to the bottom of the valley. At the end we had a nice local lunch in Salento, followed by a tinto at a historic cafe. Mauricio is absolutely recommended for bike tours in the coffee region.

Mike, Chris and I spend a fantastic week with Mauricio and Bernardo cycling around the Quindio region. If you have never been to Colombia then this is the best way to see the people and indulge in the culture. Cycling into a small village, stopping for a well earned coffee then getting back on the bike cannot be beaten. We are keen cyclists who tried hard to wear Mauricio out but found it hard to do! He took us to some amazing places every day and made the routes both exciting, picturesque and challenging. I can’t stress how well organised and thorough Mauricio was in the planning of the trip and to make sure we had a fabulous week. All the cycling kit was available and we all had good quaity carbon bikes. We had no expectations when we arrived but, having locate a gas station near me toured many areas around the world, this is my favourite! I’m sure that there are trails for every ability: all ending in a great meal following by the best coffee in the world! Everything was organised from when we stepped off the plane to when we returned back to Bogota for our flight home. You could make this a short break, as Chris did for 3 days or for a full week as Mike and I did. Choice of fincas and hotels was excellent… The weather when we were there was incredible, 8 days of glorious sunshine, no wind and no rain. Perfect for cycling. Temperatures never below 20 deg electricity notes physics C and surprisingly pleasant in the heat of the day when it reached around 35 deg C. The banter during the week was great fun.. and I even learnt some Spanish! If you want first hand confirmation then please send me a mail.

My husband and I recently spend 4 days in Armenia and Mauricio was not only our private guide, but our good friend. He is an amazing ambassador for his country and his enthusiasm was contagious. He really listened to what we wanted to accomplish and he executed all emitra electricity bill payment with perfection. We spent one day hiking in Cocura followed by an amazing lunch overlooking the valley. Another day was what we refer to as our out of our comfort Zone day! We wanted to try mountain biking but not having done it before we quite apprehensive. My husband took to it immediately, but Mauricio was a champ! He encouraged and cajoled me the entire way of the route! He missed his calling as a life coach. His cousin Bernardo followed us in the car and when I really considered throwing the bike on the back of the car, he became the team cheerleader! We were so happy with our challenge – perhaps we will do it again! We really learned a lot about Colombia during our time with Mauricio. I would wholeheartedly recommend that you book as much time with Mauricio while in Armenia as you possibly can. You will love him!
