Fantastic experience with amazing staff and guides – amazon brasil jungle tours – day tours, manaus traveller reviews – tripadvisor hp gas online booking hyderabad

David Andrade is a perfect guide and he speaks English fluently. As I was a solo English speaking traveller on the tour, David spent all day just with me (this was a big surprise to me and so professional). After I had not a very good experience with another tour company on my 3D/2N Amazon Jungle tour, I did not expect much. But David organised the tour so well, that my expectations were even exceeded. I saw and experienced much more in this one day tour than on my 3D/2N Amazon Jungle tour with another company. We stopped at floating village to have lunch in the pass gas in spanish restaurant (food was great and lots of options to choose) and to buy some gifts in the tiny market (there you could find unique and interesting items for a reasonable price). There were two local girls holding sloths and everyone could take photos with the sloths for a small ‘donation’. In general, we saw the place where brown river meets black river, capuchin monkeys from a close distance and we even could feed them with fruits, water lilies, some floating villages (we saw from the boat the school, church, other buildings in one of the floating villages), we swam with a dolphin (dolphins are free, they live in the river) and we visited a tribe (we saw a very interesting performance). The weather was very bad, but the tour was so good itself, that I left the boat really happy and satisfied. P. S. David took photos of me all day as I was a solo traveller. Plus he took some photos wikipedia electricity consumption with his own mobile phone when my camera and iPad stopped working. He is an amazing man!

We found the company through TripAdvisor and we’re impressed by reviews and felt that the tours offered everything we were looking for for a reasonable price. David national gas average 2007 was very efficient with emails and we were able to book very easily. David picked us up at the airport and took us to our hostel before picking us up the next morning for the first day of our actual trip into the Amazon. He also organised the last day of the trip so that he dropped us at the airport in time to get the last flight to Sao Paulo which gave us extra time at our next location. The trip was well organised and everything worked well. We visited the parting of the water then David drove us to meet our guide Roy who took us on a boat into the Amazon. Roy was very friendly and well-informed. His wife Antonia is a great cook and kept us well-fed. We had many wonderful experiences – swimming with dolphins, boat rides, fishing, a trek in the forest and a visit to the Indian village. A highlight was camping out overnight in the forest in hammocks. The most amazing stars I’ve ever seen. The lodge was simple but comfortable. The room was very basic but fine for what we needed and the communal areas have hammocks which means you can comfortably avoid the heat and read a book between activities. All in all I would highly recommend Amazon Brazil Tours and especially Roy as a guide – we lived talking to him about the forest, the river and Brazil. The Lodge is basic and there was building work when we were there but it was a peaceful and special place. We particularly enjoyed getting electricity billy elliot backing track to know Jesse the pet toucan. My only reservation was that other guests asked and we’re allowed to touch wild animals (catch monkeys to stroke gas after eating yogurt then for eg). I think that it is important guests are reminded of the need to respect nature and observe only.

We had a great time on our 3 night / 4 day trip. It was all very well organised, David’s emails ahead of time were efficient and he met us at the airport as planned. The following morning he picked us up early, took us to the dock and over the two river crossing on a boat. A minibus took us to the end of the road and another boat picked us up for the last stretch. The floating lodge was a very peaceful place, it was easy to sit in a hammock and watch the water go by. When the dolphins were playing, it was very special. Titan, our guide, was fantastic. He was so comfortable in the environment and extremely knowledgeable about everything. He spoke excellent English. The highlight for me was the camping – Titan caught the fish we ate, and also had a whole chicken in case the fish weren’t biting, and cooked everything over an open fire. We had a hammock and mosquito net, and we were under cover in case b games car it rained, but otherwise open to the elements. All six visitors slept amazingly well. It was very hot and the accommodation was basic but absolutely fine. Electricity doesn’t always work, so whilst there is aircon in the rooms, it is temperamental. Swimming in the river is very refreshing, although there is a strong current so you can’t stray far from the jetty. There is a small enclosed area to swim in if you aren’t comfortable with the current. The water is very brown so towels don’t stay white for long! Water in shower is from the river and sun-warmed. Food is good, but quite limited – nothing gets wasted. Nice to eat fish you’ve watched being caught.
