Saturday, May 4 — NYC 9/11 Memorial and Museum. 6:30 a.m. departure from Westwood. Spend the day in NYC. Drop off in mid-town at Rockefeller Plaza, see the sights and then make your way (either walk, subway or cab) to Ground Zero. Admission for the museum is included, spend as much time as you like seeing the exhibits. Early evening departure; back to Westwood around 10:30 p.m. Cost: $105.

Wednesday, July 31 — A Day on Martha’s Vineyard. After a 45-minute ferry ride, we’ll arrive in Oak Bluffs where we’ll get a tour of the island from Oak Bluffs to Edgartown. The tour ends in Edgartown, where you can shop, have lunch or just walk the historic town. The bus will pick you up and return you to Oak Bluffs for the ferry ride to the mainland. We’ll return home around 5:30 p.m. Cost: $95. Departs from Westwood.

Sherborn seniors and interested seniors from other communities are welcome to join us every Thursday at the Pilgrim Church (25 South Main St., Sherborn) at noon for lunch and a program. A wealthy and powerful woman in her own right, she will relate the joys and challenges of her 18th-century life. Gifted actress Anne Barrett, as Martha Washington, will describe how she’s defining a brand-new role in American politics and sing songs she learned on the revolutionary battlefield.

April 4 — Herb Crehan is back, along with the Red Sox (they open early this year on March 28 in Seattle). Hear about the current Red Sox and the contribution Metrowest has had on the team through the years and currently. Herb is a huge crowd pleaser. Ballgame lunch of hotdogs, beans, chips and pickles and power in costa rica the all-time favorite, “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” will be provided by the ECDC families.
