The manager was very accommodating letting us check in early and out early. The layout of the house is well suited for large groups of people but not older people who have trouble with stairs. You can’t use the gas fire places as there is no key and there is a dollar charge to move furniture out of its original place. As like many homes in Mexico the bathroom smells like sewer so bring fabrize. The gated community has several people who own large dogs on the frontage road to the beach. Most are not nice and will harass you as you walk down the street as they are not in yards. Unlike a gated community we watched a Beagle get malled by a golden retriever and black pit mix and white dog that lives across the street. The beach is nice for fishing and surfing but the refinery is only about 1/4 mile from the beach entry. Some days it smells like natural gas and it is not easy to breath so avoid walking near there when the stacks are blowing.

The manager was very honest and upfront about bringing extra beds and blankets for larger parties and he provided great directions to and from the property and he is very responsive if you email him. I don’t think this property was a good fit for our family at the price. We had an elderly person with us who was stuck on the second floor due to the stairs which we were warned about ahead of time for full disclosure. The beach view is awesome from the third story deck.

This is our friends’ first time to Rosarito and we decided to stay at Eduardo’s charming beach villa. We choose this location again because we feel very safe in this gated community and it is a very convenient for all of our needs. The house was clean and has all the essentials we need, the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. There were plenty of space for 6 of us and no need to fight over the bathrooms, as there were 3 ½ baths.

We especially love the location of the villa, as we were across the street from the sandy beach, where we spent the whole day playing in the water. It is so convenient that we can just walk across the street and be home to shower off the sand. Then hanging out on our balcony where we can watch the beautiful sunset with a glass of wine!

We were also just a few minutes to Walmart, where we stocked up with food, snacks, beer, and wine. There are many more shops, diversity of restaurants nearby, and even a movie theater with current American films at a bargain price compare to the States.

The house is located about 10 minutes driving to Downtown Rosarito, where my friends and I do our souvenir shopping and had dinner at El Nido (known for their grill meats). After dinner we enjoyed a movie at the Cinema Theater near our house, where we enjoyed 3 different flavor of popcorn and kittle corn.
