Pennies for Patients Program is in full swing at Golden!! This program is a science-based, philanthropy program, through which students gain character-building life skills, learn key STEM concepts and help save lives of local blood cancer patients. Golden Elementary has joined 27,000 other schools across the nation to help raise critical funds for blood cancer research. Last year Golden Elementary students raised over $8,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!! This year we are going for $10,000 to help end blood cancer. The class that collects the most funds will receive a pasta lunch from Olive Garden! The program will run from May 21st to June 8th and we look forward to Golden Elementary being a hero to those locally affected by blood cancer.

During the academic day, calls to parents should originate with the teacher, nurse, administration or other school personnel. Back to the Future seems to be today!
