We decided we wanted to rent a boat to get to Cayo Costa. We wanted to shell, but did not want to be limited to the time a chartered trip would place on us. I found Beach Bums Boat Rentals and was happy to see how close they were to where we wanted to go. I called and reserved our gas in oil car boat 4 days in advance. We rented a 19′ Center Console for the day (8 hours of rental time). When we arrived we were given the instructions on how to navigate the ICW and the best routes/landmarks to use to get to the locations we wanted. Sam and Alex were very helpful in both getting us going and helping us as we returned to dock. The rental rate was very reasonable and the gas costs were less than I had budgeted.
