Many thanks to all at Conch Charters for enabling and supporting a very enjoyable cruise aboard the 39-ft Bénéteau Cyclades Rum Runner. This was my first experience as a bareboat charter captain and Conch’s support was instrumental in allaying any concerns I had about the cruise. We truly appreciated the fact that, in spite of her 10 years, Rum Runner has been kept in excellent shape by the Conch Charters team and all systems worked flawlessly, including, and most notably, the dinghy and its outboard motor. From the thorough chart briefing and comprehensive boat check-out to the Conch team’s responsiveness to our requests to correct or supplement any items we deemed necessary before departure, we felt in good hands and this was v gashi 2013 a good start of our cruising experience. The provision of a personalised tablet, detailing the specific boat systems and including navigation software and charts was a thoughtful addition. The tablet’s bigger screen was a good supplement to the on-board chart plotter. We didn’t need any support during the cruise other wd gaster cosplay tutorial than the occasional contact for weather updates but the Conch team was always at the ready when we called. Our return was uneventful as we were met by a welcoming crew that brought the boat from the marina markers to the fuel dock. Again, thanks very much to all.

We have chartered in the BVI’s every 5-10 years since our first adventure in 1988 for a total of seven tours. Our first was with Conch! Since then we have sailed through Footloose and Sun Sail. From an early start in our 30’s our family has grown. This journey included our daughter and her two children and, since my wife and I were taking on some of the costs including the boat, we went with Conch again with the idea of getting more boat for the money. We knew that our 2011 charter would be an older craft than we were used to but were delighted to find that our vessel was in fantastic shape, better than some three year old boats that we had chartered in the past. We had not difficulties with the craft or equipment other than a couple of minor light/fan electrical issues that were easily remedied. We have gotten used to having some sort gas in babies how to get rid of it of breakdown with charter boats having had a torn sail, a transmission lock up, and a water pump failure in the past. It happens, and we were always taken care of by the other charter companies, but were happy to have none such problems with the Conch charter. Our main comment concerns customer service. We couldn’t have been more impressed! We must have driven the staff nuts with our questions prior to arrival but they were always very prompt in answering and providing all of the information that we requested. Without exception the 8-10 staff that we interfaced with on site were pleasant, helpful and informed. Kudos electricity off peak hours to a well organized operation (and we saved a chunk of change on the older, but well maintained, vessel)!
