Great fun! a real adventure! – review of fun-buggy, bavaro, dominican republic – tripadvisor 9gag memes

My wife and I took the Fun Buggy excursion late in September. This was the only excursion we booked during our 7 day stay in Punta Cana and it was a great way to break up our lazy days by the pool and the beach. If you want gas meter reading to get off the resort and see the Dominican Republic, this is the tour to take. I had the same experience as other posters with Kurt being late to pick us up from our resort. When you wake up 6:15am on your vacation and expect to get picked up at 6:50am for an excursion but have to wait 40 minutes because your guide is late, it doesn’t make a good first impression of the tour. All the details are pretty much covered in other previous reviews but I’ll give my input on a few points. Wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty. Same goes for TENNIS SHOES. The mechanics do follow behind most of the tour but sometimes fall electricity 4th grade behind and out of sight. Luckily for our group, there were no mechanical issues with the buggies. I would echo the recommendation about bringing school supplies for the school visit. Children sometimes chase your buggy and if you come to a stop crowd around expecting you to give them something. Kurt will tell you not to give them money but if I were to do the tour again I would bring little toys or party favor type stuff from the dollar store to distribute. I would agree with another poster that the gastronomia y cia fried chicken, rice, plantain, pasta salad, lemonade/coffee/mamma juana lunch was delicious!!! The tour was a blast and talking with another couple on the resort who took a fishing trip said they should have taken the Fun Buggy tour instead. You’ll be able to catch a glimpse of the Dominican that you could not see on any other tour. I would also recommend buying the DVD of the excursion. It was really fun to watch when we returned home.

This was an all day fun tour!! We saw a school, domician house, fake cock fighting the roosters had gas house pike frederick md boxing gloves on, short hike to a cave, horseback riding, toured a cigar factory beautiful beach. We rode the fun buggies on highways dirt roads, it was a blast. Our buggies didn’t break down. Kurt was very personable, funny, fun. Rudy was the photography for the electricity receiver day, he jumps on the van in the morining we were all wondering what he was doing, we didn’t realize he was the photography at that time. Rudy was great fun all day, he is a bit of a jokester. Also had a great lunch with good fried chicken, beans rice. Lemonade was good too, which is made out of filter water. At some of the stops they will give you a shot of the mama juana. I highly recommend doing this all day excursions. Remember to bring some water, bug spray, towel- you can get a little dirty, make sure you were tennis shoes, sunblock. After you go horsebacking riding they will sell a bottle of mama juana with a pictiure of you on it. We wanted the picture so we bought it for $10, they told us to put liquid-rum in it before taking it back to the states- since you can not take dry wood into gas konigsforst the states. We did that, got some rum from the hotel.. Even though we had rum in it, US customs still took our bottle we hide it in our checked luggage with clothes. That was a huge disappointment. Bring school supplies for the kids- go to the dollar store get some pencils, erasers, notebooks. You will see several children before getting to the school, so ration what you electricity sources bring so the kids at the school can have some supplies. At first we were iffy about spending the money for the tour, but it was worth every penny. Go ahead book the tour you will not be disappointed. Great fun all day!!
