Though it may seem expensive in comparison to some other dive sites in Koh Tao, we found Master Divers to be well worth the money gasbuddy near me. We bought a open water PADI course with them having never dived before. The staff at reception were pleasant and helpful and clearly explained how our three and a half day course would pan out. My girlfriend and I were in a group of our own which was excellent ( but they normally have a maximum of 4 so the experience would be personal regardless). All the staff we come into contact with we’re pleasant and professional. Our instructor Rafa was fantastic. We were both a little apprehensive but he made everything seem so clear and simple, answering all our questions with clarity and always happy to go over any misunderstandings. He made the theory an enjoyable experience and we both felt well equipped to enter the water by the end of our second morning. He was always pleasant and upbeat as well as professional. He really tailored the dive to our needs and clearly explained what our targets were on the next dive. Rafa constantly reassured us and made it clear that our safety was his top priority. We both felt confident with him under the water and we’re able to really enjoy the experience as a result. I can’t speak highly enough of Rafa or the company and would definitely recommend them to anyone considering diving o gastronomo on the island.

I finally decided to take the leap and become a PADI instructor. I decided to go with Master Divers because I knew someone already in the course, and I had heard that MD was a good school. It is a great school! Everyone is very professional, the owners and managers are really passionate about diving and do a great job of taking electricity usage by state care of their people. It’s a great community to be in and around. Gaz is the Course Director there, and was great. He’s an amazing coach and really puts in the effort to help elevate your confidence and knowledge. His extensive experience and knowledge allow him to show you exactly what you can and/or need to do to be a great instructor. Group size is small, so you you know it’s not just about passing a test and getting that next professional rating. Brand new instructors will walk away from this course with a heightened sense of what quality means. Having been around Koh Tao for a little while, I can honestly say that the people coming out of the IDC from here are already on a great path to furthering higher quality and professionalism in the sport. During the course, we laughed a lot gas problem in babies. What’s the point of taking yourself so seriously all the time? Isn’t it better to have a little fun while you learn? Wouldn’t you rather have a learning environment in which you can have fun, make honest mistakes without judgement, and learn, knowing that you will start the right way to becoming a fantastic instructor? I loved it. Thanks Gaz and everyone at MD!
