We found Carlitos Tours through Trip Advisor, and agree with the ratings! We had an easy experience booking through email – 2 days, 1 night trekking, shared tourist bus (bit cheaper than private car). We ended up having mp electricity bill payment online indore a personalized tour with our guide, because there were no other couples booked that week. We met with Carlitos the night before our tour, he went over all the details. It was a very early morning start, but it was worth it! Our guide was super friendly, happy and full of interesting information! The hike down was pretty tough – sun was blazing, and very dry! But our guide had snacks and we packed enough water. Lunch was more than enough for us, maybe too electricity generation much as still had some hiking to do on our full stomachs. That evening we stayed in one of the hotels/hostels/camps at the bottom of the canyon – pretty rustic, but our hotel had electricity! A couple of light bulbs – no outlets. We ended up with a luxury room – i.e. access to our own shower/bathroom. Again, it’s basic. There are bugs – including strangely aggressive moths! Only one night stay, before hiking out of the Canyon. Hike up was also a decent trek – but much easier than down since not in the sun. Lots of people we met took the donkeys up, but I’m glad we hiked up. I had left an item in… We found gas after eating fruit Carlitos Tours through Trip Advisor, and agree with the ratings! I had left an item in the hotel, and our guide managed to ask another guide to grab it and bring it up on the donkey (they leave after the hikers). It was so nice of her – shows how the company really goes out of their gas hydrates wiki way to make a customer happy! We would definitely recommend Carlitos Tours! More Show less

Me and my wife did a lot of research to find the absolute best tours in Arequipa and we are so glad that we found Carlitos Tours! We did the 2D/1N Colca Canyon Homestay trip. The information exchange was excellent from beginning to end, and we had a solid understanding of what to expect from this trip. Carlito came and picked us up at the airport with our names on his iPad and we instantly knew that we had made the right decision. Carlito was so warm and welcoming (don’t worry be happy) and we felt very good taken care of. Carlito explained the trek in detail while he drove us to our hotel. He told us exactly what to bring and not to bring and we had a good understanding of what to expect. It is really clear that Carlito loves his job and takes good pride in giving you the best travel experience possible. Carlito came personally to pick us up (early, early in the morning/night) and drove o gascon us to the transport to make sure that everything was in order. He also took care of our luggage and stored it in his office while we were trekking. The transport to the starting point for the trek was in a comfortable minibus with some other travellers. When we stopped for breakfast, our guide Veronica gas vs electric oven for baking cakes took us to our own place to eat. The breakfast was ready for us and it tasted delicious. Having our own place to eat with our own guide made this experience even more personal, just how we wanted it. (Veronica was a great and experienced guide which we had a great time with on the trek). On the way down the canyon my wife started to feel the altitude sickness creeping in along with some knee problems. We did not think we would be able to walk the extra 3 hours to the home stay location and informed our awesome guide Veronica about this. We asked if it was possible to sleep down in the oasis at the bottom of the canyon electricity and circuits. Veronica made some phone calls on the way down, and along with some magic, everything was ready for us when we got down. My wife felt really bad and got a room immediately. At first we felt bad about the family we had planned to stay with, but Veronica made us feel like everything was okay and that we didn’t need to worry about anything. Even though everything was already ready for the homestay, they never charged us extra for this change. I am sad that we never made it there as I’m sure that Carlito had everything arranged electricity worksheets grade 9 for a perfect homestay experience. When we got back to Arequipa, Carlito met us with our luggage and drove us to our new hotel. He apologized a hundred times for our experience in the canyon (even though the ONLY one responsible for this was ourselves and our health). We made sure that we were absolutely 100% satisfied with everything that he had offered us. We had a few days in Arequipa before we traveled to our next place. Carlito offered us a free and private tour of Arequipa by himself whenever we had the time. He also came and picked us up at our hotel the day of our departure and drove us to the bus station. He followed us in at the bus station, and made sure that our tickets were in order and that everything was okay. We took a selfie as a memory of this great experience and separated as friends. In short words: Carlito did everything possible to make us feel like the most important people in Arequipa. We felt safe and taken care of from beginning to end. Carlito is really one of the good guys out there in the world. We love the concept of smaller groups and a more private experience where everything is included. We highly recommend Carlitos Tours to anyone who want an excellent travel experience! Hasta Luego – Until electricity grounding works we meet again!
