WARNING: this is a fairly long proposal. In the interest of keeping as short as possible, I have opted to only compare 4 currently existing buildings and one military unit selected from IA to 5 rough-example versions. to give an estimated comparison & cost to the rest of existing buildings & troops. The numbers should be viewed as rough placeholder examples for the time being, as specifics can be subject to change as things evolve.

The new military buildings & units would be much larger itself, and the units stronger. You may have noticed I put stealth into the addition on the new light unit. (Another example trait given, subject to change) This allows IA and early players to use unit perks that simply did not exist at the time original units were created. It also adds a boost to base stats to get more variety out of unit abilities.

Overall I think this could add quite a bit to the game and reignite some of the stagnant aspects by giving everyone across all ages a new challenge. There is a lot to process across all of this and I know I have only singular examples. electricity word search answers This is due to the overall size of this proposal, it would take far too long to come up with specific numbers for every possible building and unit across all ages and even with those numbers, the final decision is in the hands of the development team and it’s implementation.

#1 I think we need to see what changes, if any, may be in store for GvG as a whole in the big html 5 migration before adding a new layer to it (I’m implying here that this proposal is GvG specific [with a little help to the treasury for GE?]). Rumors abound ranging from GvG may come to mobile to being completely done away with :/ If that unfortunately be the case, this would need modification for strictly GE… I don’t see this going far until more information is learned about the future of GvG unfortunately…

#3 Abuse prevention… (not really *abuse* imo, but…) you need to keep in mind that many larger (namely older!) guilds have stockpiles in the ungodly thousands of goods collected over the last few *years* plus many players collecting 500-1000s of FPs per day (never mind packs in inventory). There’s not much to stop/slow these players/guilds from progressing very quickly whereas a newer/smaller guild will be left behind. Your IA light unit has an attack that’s even a few points greater than an EMA light unit. Its range of 2 isn’t currently available to a non-short/long-ranged unit until Colonial Age – 4 Ages beyond IA! And stealth … how many Ages later is it til that’s currently available?!? 8 available slots in your 1 military building (just short of equivalent number from 2 regular barracks) is more then enough to provide for most things except for auto-battling GE4 & possibly some GvG.

You graciously suggest changing GE4 to fighting against new units as a means of abuse prevention. In so doing, you completely remove the ability of a massive number of players who currently can fight & complete GE4 from ever being able to do so in your system. electricity synonyms If a guild doesn’t have the Tech tree unlocked to the Aged unit I need (which will be a ton of them, especially for the mid Ages & up), they can’t fight GE4 & win against those more powerful units (which are the rough equivalent of 2+ Ages beyond regularly available units) using my regular units & my current attack boosts. What would I need… 300-400% boost with regular units?? Negotiate instead? For myself, no way do I want to be forced to change my diamond farms to produce enough goods for GE4 to accommodate you. gas engineer salary And I shouldn’t be forced to leave a guild I’m happy in to compete for a spot in those few guilds that can keep up with (or even those interested in this) my age in their tech tree.

If you chose to have your system only take effect in GE for those ages in which the guild military tech is unlocked (leaving it same as normal for guildies above that level), it still won’t work. To complete GE3 for those at/below that age is a given without any boosts (using the stronger troops), while those above that age (using regular troops) will require some boosts. Not a very equitable arrangement.
