I used Tsunami while in Caye Caulker this year for 2 different tours and was happy with the outcome . Heather was very good at responding to queries and emails and Selema (? Spelling .. Sorry) who we dealt with mostly at the dick office was helpful and always friendly q gastrobar and accommodating . First I went on the half day local reef tour with guide Santiago ( who also works for Marios) He was an amazing guy who was very knowledgable . Amazing reef , marine life … Stopped at a few places … Then had a bonus visit to manatee feeding area and seahorse reserve. Fabulous.

The next week our big adventure was up the New River jungle cruise to Lamanai . It was a full day but well worth it and all details were taken care of competently by this tour company . Major Tom met us , drove us informed us and joked with up on the trip up and the time flew . Eric our local river guide showed us so much … Monkeys orchids lizards birds … All I’d hoped for . His laser light was great for pointing out camouflaged wildlife. I found my own croc and was happy not to be swimming!!! Amir the site guide was a wealth of info and his stories made the site pulse with life . And the lunch was great!!! Went on the full-day Lamanai/River Tour organized by Tsunami. When you do to and from Caye Caulker like we did, it makes for a very very long day (+12 hours), but so worth it if you don’t want to spend the night on the main land. Catch 6:30 water taxi to meet up with driver elektricity club. Driver takes group to river pick up, 1.5 hour (or so) river boat ride, and then Lamanai tour….and reverse. Our river and Lamanai guide was Amir, with Reyes and Sons. He was absolutely fantastic. Super knowledgeable of the plant and animal life. He also did a great job of shifting the order of our tour at Lamanai around to avoid crowds. Instead of eating as soon as we got there, he got us straightaway into sightseeing, taking a couple of shortcuts to avoid other groups. We had a super close up Howler Monkey experience, and also a bird (can’t remember name) that was also apparently unusually close to us. Saw crocs and cool birds on the river. He took it slow when other guides were speeding down the river, allowing us to see different things. Highly recommend requesting him.

Our experience with Tsunami was electricity austin excellent. We were a group of 4 visit Cay Caulker while cruising on a sailboat in the area. Heather was very accomodating to our needs, and flexible with our group. She accomodated last minute additions to the group (one of us decided to join last minute)(she arranged for the boat to pick us up directly from our sailboat on the other side of the island). The boat was very comfortable. We were joined by 4 other friendly folks to make 8 total and we all had plenty of room. The guides were excellent, very experienced and helpful. Excellent refreshments provided, all the snorkelling spots were great, and we were able to see some manatees which is not always possible, and they dropped us off direct on our sailboat at the end! The shop was recommended to us by a local on the island, and we were very happy u save gas station grants pass we took the local’s advice. Their location is great, and all in all we were very pleased by Heather’s service and the guides she set us up with. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cay Caulker.

We went to Tsunami Adventures because based on a travel blog review. This whole Belize trip and Caye Caulker was all an impromptu trip for gas variables pogil key us. We had no plans, no hotels, no itinerary. When we spoke to Heather, she really listened to what we wanted to do (even though we weren’t all that sure what we really wanted). She was great at giving us recommendations and respecting our wants and budget as well. We did the snorkeling tour with the north channel and shark ray alley and coral garden. Our tour guides were always asking if we are doing okay. They were also really good at pointing at things for us to see in case we missed it. To my surprise our tour guide also took us to see seahorses near the mangroves and the tarpons. He also tried to go to the manatee site to see if we could spot one (unfortunately they didn’t show that day) The weather was pretty bad and the sea was choppy so it was really hard to see anything as you fight the current and struggle to keep still while looking at marine life. I do suggest checking to see if the weather is nice before you go to these tours. As Heather will just try to accommodate your timeline and will go with whatever you want to do. I grew up in the ocean so I know this can be hard to do as the weather electricity multiple choice questions grade 9 is hard to pinpoint no matter how much you prepare for it. We also did the cave tubing tour the next day and since we did not want to spend too much on the combination tour of the caves and ruins, we asked her if we could just do the cave tubing. She went out of her way to talk to the tour guide and let him know that we would not be paying for the tour and that it was up to him if he let us tag along and just pay for the entrance fees. We weren’t expecting any freebies as we really weren’t 100% on wanting to see the ruins. Major Tom (our Altun Ha tour guide and driver) was nice enough to let us tag along. He reminded me of my grandfather. He is a very smart man and has some really cool stories about his life and the culture and the people in Belize. He was a great tour guide with lots of experience. He can really give you a great perspective on Belizean life. Overall both tours were great. I do recommend doing your research on the weather for any tour you take and book early so they have gas laws worksheet answers chemistry plenty of time to make your tour as enjoyable as possible. Don’t expect these tours to be cheap, they have to pay for entrance fees, gas, labor etc.. and it’s typically a small group in slow days. Lastly, just my two cents on these tours, if you want to enjoy it just remember you are not in a first world country there are some luxuries that you will not have and that is the point of these tours is to experience what the locals do. Be respectful and treat people like they are your friend not someone you hired. The vibe on this whole country is about community, family and friends so get off your high horse and be humble. It will really go a long way to make your whole stay enjoyable.

We went on a cruise from February 11 to 18 th with carnival glory! One of the stops along the way was Belize. We booked on line with tsunami adventures, with Heather. Heather, and Betin our captain picked us up at the cruise terminal and took us back to caye caulker. We got fitted with electricity drinking game snorkelling gear and off we went to to do some snorkelling! Wilbour our guide took us for an awesome snorkel where we saw lots of awesome fish! Two of the people that we were with had never snorkelled and Wilbour took great care of them, they loved it! After the first snorkel we had fresh fruit and drinks , we then went and swam with the Sharks and stingrays, another great swim! We then went and saw the Tarpin and went on a bit of a cruise. We had a great time. After the tour we had a great lunch and Heather showed us around the island! We then had gas kansas to go back to the cruise terminal and back to the ship! We did four stops on this cruise and by far this was the best tour we went on! We felt very welcome and Heather and her team, they took great care of us! Tsunami adventures was great! Thanks Heather
