This property was accurately portrayed and even more beautiful than photos show especially for gardening aficionadas! Lots of room for all our family to gather – inside or out for games, barbeques, or just to relax on the spacious front deck for the breathtaking views and evening sunsets. We could watch the July 3rd fireworks in South Haven right from the property’s beach and enjoyed the July 4th parade in Saugatuck, both so close by. Also took the grandchildren to Holland’s Dutch Village. Each town had farmers markets, music on the greens, and just minutes we were lucky to catch the town of Glenn’s famous pancake breakfast that was yummy. Glenn also has wonderful homemade pizza and sides at their general store which we used to cater a huge family reunion and our grandchildren loved their town playground. We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather, gorgeous sunsets and many wonderful days down on the beach to collect rocks and driftwood, frolic in the waves of Lake Michigan and walk the shoreline. Evenings by the fire pit roasting hotdogs and marshmallows topped off our perfect days. We even rented the next door little cottage so we could have extended family members visit for overnights which made everything all the more special. A huge thanks to Joe and Marilyn Darby for their kind hospitality and sharing of such a priceless gem of beautiful "Pure Michigan".
