1. Hoses- buying a plane that sat for a few years. Talk to a mechanic, get a quote on replacing all the fuel, oil, brake lines and gaskets so when you bargin a price you are gas x while pregnant in budget with those post buying costs. I took out a loan to ensure I had money in the bank to deal with added costs. Expensive items I’ve seen go on planes that sat: Alternators, batteries, and magnetos. For me, just the alternator so far, but that wasn’t from sitting.

This can only be done by the builder of that specific aircraft or an IA. Many times that seems to be true with planes, but with things like cotter pins, star washers, and a million other things, you’ll find that’s not the case with enough items to not just give it a college try.

Automotive wires do not have shielding like I showed in the video and with photos below. The shielding is very important, especially with aircraft with high vibrations and lowed, oh like a Pitts. 3. Back fire on start. The prop would kick back on start when I bought Miss America. The cause can gas exchange in the lungs be a few things. For me, the ignition switch needed a grounding wire for the right magneto on the back of the ignition switch. Looking at the picture in the instructions immediately showed what small wire was missing. During start, one mag is ungrounded (Normally the left one) and one is grounded (Normally the right). If both are ungrounded you’ll get a kick back on the prop at start. Issue with that… ignition caused my alternator to be seared off. Pictures below.

4. Aileron Tape: If you mind the gap… have a gap between your wing and aileron you want to tape it up. I know, boys you don’t normally want to cover the gap up. But this time, yes you do. Increases your roll rate significantly because it stops electricity 101 pdf airflow from going through the gap between the wing and upper leading edge of the aileron forcing all the wind to hit the aileron, increasing their effectiveness. Normally this is only needed on flat bottom wings because that’s when you’ll have a gap. Symmetrical wings normally don’t have a gap. This will become the part you tape in the middle to stop the dirt from sticking. Then lay out the same length tape, sticky up. Tape or nail it down. Then take half of the first strip (Sticky down) and put that in the middle. Take your time and go from one end to the other to reduce the bubbles. Having another person to hold one end to make sure it doesn’t touch the tape until you are ready helps. Once that’s sticking together. Go to the aileron, deflect the aileron down, and once again start from one end and slowly go to the other, mind the bubbles electricity lessons ks1. Okay, you’ll get some bubbles.
