Villa Dos Gatos (House of Two Cats) is fronted by a large teak balcony featuring two hammocks + 4 person dining table – this is the signature location of the house with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. The main living area of the house is located on the upper level; at this level the ocean-view presents itself from all points in the open-concept kitchen, dining and living room areas. Vaulted ceilings, teak beams and numerous windows enhance this area with abundant light and air. The kitchen is well equipped with coffee maker, toaster, pots pans, cutlery, dishes, glasses, blender, electric stove and fridge. For indoor dining a lunch bar separates the kitchen and living room – there are 6 bar-height, teak chairs. Behind the house la gastritis is the private pool and rancho with propane and charcoal bar-b-ques; a bar in the rancho offers an outside dining option near the pool.

Beach, Ocean and Weather are the main attractions at Isla Palo Seco; they are spectacular! Isla Palo Seco is a barrier island, essentially a sand spit, that extends 8 km in length. The sand beach extends the entire length of the Island on the ocean-facing side; approximately 8 km of palm-lined, pristine beach. The ocean water is warm, surprisingly warm. Waves are constant; they are a surfer/boogie boarder’s dream. At Dos Gatos we have 3 surf boards (2 long boards and 1 short board) and 4 boogie boards for our guests to use. At high or low tide the beach is breathtaking but if you want to walk the beach low tide is best. At low tide the ocean recedes electricity transmission efficiency to uncover a flat, sand strip that extends for more than half of the 100 or so metres between the water and the beach grass and palms. This flat sand is firm and a pleasure to walk. The beach is never crowded with people. Except for weekends and holidays when Tico (Costa Rican) families gather at the beach, it is almost deserted. I once walked the entire length of the Island and electricity notes pdf encountered only 3 people! The estero located on the back side of the island is extensive and it known for its fishing and sight seeing.

The weather between December 1 and May 1 (summer) is predictable; except for the occasional rainfall in the evening or night – average daytime high temp is 33 c under clear skies and average nighttime lows are 21 c. Even in the green season there is sun on most days from early morning to early afternoon when the clouds roll in with late afternoon showers – the average temps vary only slightly.

There are several very good restaurants on the beach: ‘Mar Y Sol’ is a restaurant/bar with relaxed atmosphere and good food, ‘Beso Del Viento’ offers French quesine by reservation, ‘Hotel La Isla’ has an extensive menu and the newest resort on the Island ‘Clandestino Resort’ and Coco Mar (newest restaurant on the beach) offer more upscale dining at reasonable prices. We have been to this property 6 times over the past number of years and we just love the laid back relaxed feeling of the place. The house is large and clean, and when you arrive and once you put your luggage away it becomes home. The upper front porch is a great place to start the day with breakfast around the table and just sit and watch the waves of the ocean. Walk electricity outage san antonio the beach either before or after breakfast as the walk is relaxing and the ocean is warm as it washes over your feet. For such a beautiful beach it is incredible that you will see only a few people on your morning walk. If you see 5 people it is a busy day!! Just playing in the waves can be fun as the beach is shallow a long way out and if you want boggie boards or surf boards the house has them as well. Once back from your walk swim in the salt water pool behind the house. It is a wonderful pool to relax in with a drink in hand and watch the Monkeys and Iguanas roam the property. (they both love Banana’s ). We have really enjoyed spending the afternoons in the hammocks on the front porch as the breeze from the ocean is wonderful and the view is something you never tire of. As you wind down your quiet day you can head grade 9 electricity quiz back to the beach for the beautiful sunsets every night, but you have to be quick as the sun sets right before your eyes. There are small resorts along the road that runs in front of the house where you can go for dinner or you can make your own dinner. There are a number of tours that you can take in the area from Mango Grove tours, to zip lining. Also it is nice to have a security guard at the house each night for that little extra protection (not that we have ever had a problem). Pura Vida!!

Our first impression, going through Parrita, was a that it was nothing like we expected. Parrita is a true Tico-town and the area where the house is is not touristic at all. At first we were a bit doubtful but after a day or so we realized it was perfect for us! Everyday we went to Parriata to but j gastroenterol fresh frusits and vegetabilies from a very sweet guy and and after that we went to Maxi Pali to buy groceries – quite an experience every time 🙂

Being in a non-touristic town also ment having the encredibly long and cleand beach to our selves almost everyday – that was absolutely amazing! Every morming we went the few meters to the beach a cross the small road with the boogie boards and surf boards that we found in the house and played in the vawes. After that we went back to the (very clean) pool and just hang out. After lunch we relaxed on the porch looking at the ocean and later in the afternon, the beautiful snusets, laying in the hammocks… it was just awesome. The house it self was very clean and had all we ever needed. Lots of towels and beddings and all you needed for cooking (allthough the stove was a little bit slow). We used the barbecue a copule of Times’ and it worked perfectly. Reyes (the security man) was so kind and it felt really good having him around at night. He is usch a lovely guy. The cherry on the cake was all the animals in the garden. The Group of monkies (cappuccinos) visiten us every day and we got to see the sloth electricity vampires that lives in the tree next to the house when he/she was climbing down to do her monthly toilette, amazing 🙂 we also really likes the iguanas and all the lovely birds tthat were all over the garden.
