Lake leelanau luxury lake home, outdoor kit… – vrbo gas out game rules

This family owned vacation home looks brand new inside and out. Recently decorated. This property is situated on 100 feet of lake frontage. The interior is breath taking with open family room, high cathedral ceilings, panoramic windows facing the lake with floor to ceiling fireplace.

The outdoor living at this home is incredible with a huge deck surrounded by flowers. The deck includes two dining room tables. You can enjoy yourself under an umbrella in a love seat or sofa chair or stretch out and get some sun in a lounger chair or the many deck chairs. A hot tub is located at the upper deck with views of the lake. The deck also has an outdoor kitchen with gas grill, gas burners, refrigerator, sink, large counter space with storage for food, utensils and beverages. The outdoor kitchen has five bar stools and two umbrellas if you want some shade. The deck also has an outdoor shower with warm water to rinse yourself off from the lake or get the sand off from the volleyball court.

There is a large separate deck for the fire pit providing an area to mingle around the fire. The sand volleyball court and sandy beach area provides a huge sandbox for the kids with sand toys available. There is also a brick walkway to the lake.

The vacation home has many premium features providing a luxurious vacation or get away on beautiful 20+ mile long Lake Leelanau. The home is available year-round with air conditioning. The property has a sandy beach and sandy lake bottom. Sand volley ball court near beach. The beach area has great swimming for kids or adults.

Lake Leelanau is an all sports lake for swimming, boating, water skiing, and great fishing for walleye and bass. You can take your boat to the towns of Lake Leelanau, Leland, or Cedar for excellent dining, sight-seeing or shopping or across the lake to a bar/restaurant. Gas service for your boat is available at three locations on the lake.

During the summer, we have a like new pontoon boat with 115 HP motor available for rent. In the winter, snowmobiles are available for rent. If you bring your own boat it can be tied to the dock. There is a public boat launch within a couple blocks from the home.

The architect that designed this home had lake views in mind from almost every room in the house. The open floor plan for the large family room, kitchen and dining room have three sets of windows/sliders providing a panoramic view of the lake and beach area. Glass around the east and west side allow both sunrise and sunset views. A beautiful fireplace and large screen high definition television is also part of the room features.

We chose this property because there were 7 of us adults, we wanted to be on a lake, there was a boat dock and rental option, plus the hot tub and fire pit appealed due to the possible cool weather at this time of year. The house is amazingly laid out and appointed with everything we could want. I got spoiled! The location is perfect to visit the area. We took a loop around Lake Leelanau our first full day: Leland (a favorite spot!), Northport/Mitten Brewing, and Suttons Bay (Hop Lot Brewing). Next day was Traverse City day. It was rainiest that day, but we hit Northpeak Brewing, Right Brain Brewery, Filling Station, Workshop Brewing (where we checked out the trail along the river and witnessed a fisherman catch a king salmon!), and Moomers for ice cream on the way home. Third day was Glen Arbor and the Sleeping Bear Dune climb. We had time for a kayak ride when we got back to the house plus another fire and hot tub time. We cooked two meals with meat from Plevars? market in Cedar and it was delicious. Each day before and after sight-seeing we were so excited to enjoy this fun resort-slash-house on Lake Leelanau. We would love to come back and do more biking, canoeing and hiking. Thanks, Larry, for having us for a 40th anniversary trip with our kids that was PERFECT.
