The main floor is on the middle level. Here you will find a large living room with ample seating for your family. The living room also features the original granite fireplace from when the cabin was built in 1942. The cabin was renovated and enlarged in 1984 when we bought it. The game table is a wonderful place for playing cards games, working puzzles or writing emails (free wifi) while looking out at the lake.

You’ll find plenty of dinnerware and cookware for your use. For coffee lovers there is also an expresso/cappuccino maker and two 12- cup coffee pots. The central island/chopping block is ideal for the whole family to help prepare some delicious meals. A washer dryer plus a second refrigerator are located just steps from the kitchen.

The French doors from the family room take you out to a lake level patio with table and chairs to seat 6. Another recent addition is a cushioned seating bench that seats 4. This is a great area for watching a hot game of horseshoes. Just a few steps down is a wide sandy beach with a horseshoe pit, room for sunbathing e electricity bill payment and building sand castles. On the beach we provide four chaise lounges to relax on while you read or watch the kids play. Our dock has room for you to have two boats or one boat and one jet ski.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as there was plenty of room for our 10 adults to spread out. This is a large 3 level home with two bedrooms on each level. The beds were comfortable. You will need to supply your own bedding, towels and paper products. The kitchen is very nice and had everything we needed for our stay. There are two refrigerators which helped a lot for a large group and they have ice makers. There is a gas grill which is nice to use. The water level of Bass Lake was full and the water was right up to the lower patio. It was nice to sit on the deck, dock and patio watching static electricity human body the activity on Willow Cove. Willow Cove provides a calm setting for paddle boarding, kayaking or just floating around while the main lake is crazy with weekend boaters.

The only minor issue we or others may have is the parking is somewhat tight to get out of. We managed fine, but a large vehicle or large truck may take some practice. Also, the home has a double slip boat dock. While we were there, there were two boats tied to the dock gas leak in house. We had only a Waverunner, so we managed fine. If you are bringing a ski boat or patio boat, you may want to verify ahead of time that there will be access to tie up at the dock.

Located in the Sierra’s at 3500′ elevation, this home is located on Willow Cove in beautiful Bass Lake. It’s just a 25 minute drive via Highway 41 to the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Just inside the entrance is the Mariposa Grove with an easy walking trail through the giant gas constant for nitrogen redwoods. A few miles inside the park you’ll come to the historic Wawona Hotel and Golf Course. On your way to the Valley you can detour to Glacier Point and in the winter you can enjoy downhill and cross country skiing at Badger Pass. Continuing on to the Valley you have to stop at the Lookout after going through the tunnel. From this vista you can see Bridalveil Falls, El Capitan and Half Dome. Don’t forget your camera. Once you reach the valley floor there are trails that take you to the base of Bridalveil Falls and Yosemite Falls gas calculator. In the summer you can float on the Merced River or enjoy a horseback ride. The best way to see the Valley is on a tram ride from Yosemite Village. The guides are very knowledgeable and give a great overview of sights and the parks history. Don’t miss the Ahwahnee Hotel. Walk through the public rooms and see the huge walk-in fireplace.
