We enjoyed our stay very much. The vacation rental came exactly as advertised and there were no surprises. We really loved the pool area. And when I say pool I really mean a pool. Not a splash pool that is commonly found at a lot of vacation rentals. We slept in the smaller of the two bedrooms because we could open the sliding glass door at night. This was also really appreciated. The neighbourhood is very quiet forthe most part and is very safe. Javier the churro guy showed up at the gate every day. Only $1 each and very tasty. We liked the proximity to grocery stores and to downtown. Easily walkable to both. Guido‘s is a must as far as going out to dinner. If you love Italian food this place is really good both in terms of quality and portion size. Try the chocolate mousse also. We went there 3 times during our stay. Dicks Dive was excellent if you like fish and chips. Didn’t get to go diving on this trip but snorkeling at El Cielo is a must. Been to a lot of Caribbean spots during our travels and this was a definite highlight.

Our family stayed here over Christmas and New Years (just over two weeks total). The location is perfect, close to downtown and grocery stores, close to Corpus Christi park and walking distance to so many things. We would walk each day to Papa Hogs to scuba dive – and walk into town each evening to eat dinner or hang out. The neighborhood and neighbors are very friendly – and the evenings are very quiet (thankfully, did not have the usual barking dogs we have grown accustomed to when staying in town).

We are a family of three and the house was perfect. We stayed in the master and our 7 year old stayed in the other large bedroom with pool view (and she liked to play in the room with the single bed). The house is well laid out and everyone felt like they had their own space. The deck around the pool is great although in December, the pool was a little too cold to use. The bikes were a nice touch and we used them to ride back and forth to the gym.

From the first interaction with Carla, our stay was great! Carla is incredibly responsive and super helpful. You can tell they love their home as it is reflected in the care they have taken to ensure guests have everything they need – and the house is very well maintained and lovely.

The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Kitchen is stocked and ready to go with everything you might need and can imagine. We did have to buy charcoal and lighter fluid for the BBQ (which was in short supply over Christmas period) – so a propane BBQ might be nice – but otherwise, no complaints.

We had no need to interact with the team from Enjoy Cozumel who manage the property – as we frequent Cozumel a lot – but they did say they were available to assist, if needed. We only had the cleaning person come 3 times in the 16 days so not sure if that was normal but it did not seem as frequent as in other houses we have stayed in. We aren’t messy so it was no big deal but something you may want to confirm, if you are staying here.

We are divers and we have been to Cozumel many times but this was our first time to stay at Casa Carlita. From the initial inquiry and timely response to make our reservations to the final hours of our stay, everything was perfecto! Fred met us at the airport and showed us the way to Casa Carlita, waiting patiently at Alamo rental car while we picked up our car. The sleeping arrangements were perfect. The beds were very comfy, the rooms were very quiet for sleeping, and individual air conditioning units in each bedroom allowed for various settings by each guest. The showers provided plenty of hot water and the water volume was good. We fixed several meals in the casa and found everything we needed including the blender for protein shakes. There is an outdoor charcoal grill in the patio area and we made chicken, fish and lobster that was delicious. 🙂 The pool was a nice addition just for an occasional cool off and they have several floating mattress if you want to just hand. There were two mountain bikes for guest use but we had a car so we didn’t use them. Towels were nice and fluffy and thirsty. The maid service was awesome, I wish I could take them home to my house. The keep the Casa really nice and clean when you have 3 guys to look after and guests coming over to visit after diving. At other condos and homes we’ve rented, maid service hasn’t been included. This was an awesome perk for me! Not to have to worry about cleaning up after 3 guys! The location was great, close to the grocery stores and also at the south end of town so that when we headed to the marina to get our dive boat we didn’t have to go through downtown traffic. They have two phones that you can use free of charge, one local and one to call the US. The local one really came in handy to get in touch with our friends that live in Cozumel and to call local restaurants, etc. The internet was good and reliable. The entry level to the pool and house is handicap accessible. We had a local friend visit us who is in a wheelchair and he was able to get around with a little help to get the chair over a small step. We met a few of the neighbors and they were really nice. I highly recommend this Casa! It was truly "Perfecto" for all of our needs and I think based on the reviews that you will love it too!
