Lovely—perfect—from start to finish. – review of shangri-la hotel, tokyo, chiyoda, japan – tripadvisor z gas el salvador numero de telefono

The hotel is absolutely beautifully styled and feels fresh and classic. Our biggest compliment, though, must go to the staff!!! from the moment you arrive you are absolutely catered to by a most charming staff. They were an absolute godsend when going from the hotel to the train station as they offer a meet and greet service. When heading back to the airport, we’d have never made our way without the gracious young man who accompanied us (even though the hotel is a mere stone’s throw from the station). He even stayed til the train left to wave us off! The same experience when we left on the train to Kyoto—we were accompanied every step of the way by a delightful young woman named—–. As a westerner, we felt really overwhelmed by the trains as surely the station at Tokyo must be one of the largest on the planet.

As for the hotel—our room was beautiful; the restaurant offered a wonderful array of both continental & japanese fare; the lobby bar had a glorious view of the city; and we were made to feel special always—even to the point of everyone remembering our names.

Yes, we put a card into the slot inside the door to activate the lights as a previous reviewer noted, but, that is, of course, to be more eco-friendly with lights and electricity. I appreciate that, whether a Days Inn or a 5-star hotel such as… The hotel is absolutely beautifully styled and feels fresh and classic. I appreciate that, whether a Days Inn or a 5-star hotel such as the Shangri-la. Our experience was delightful. Being in the center of Tokyo and next to Tokyo train station was a plus. Oh, and by the way—the pajamas were fabulous. I bought 2 sets to take home. More Show less

Having spent a few days and nights at the Shangri-La Hotel we were blown away by the sheer opulence of the Furniture & Wall coverings. The soft furnishings were aesthetically pleasing to the eye and quite calming. We arrived very early (10.39) from Osaka, expecting to drop off the bags and check-in later, no way….with good fortune our room was ready! Result…we dropped off the bags in our room, 3633 on the 36F with amazing views over the Sprawling city of Tokyo. The Room was an executive Imperial Palace Deluxe. Amazing, the quirky ‘wet room’ encased in a separate glass compartment with a bath & Rain showers, twin vanity sink with Bvulgari toiletries and every imaginable toiletry man or woman required. The Bed is a king and the linen is Egyptian cotton. The floor to ceiling Blinds & Curtains are controlled remotely, as are the ceiling & Bed Lights. Small touches go a long way….a set of His/Her Pyjamas are in a drawer, also a full set of His/Her Kimono, Towelling Bathrobes, Slippers all of which are replaced each day. A full Nespresso set including Cups plus a list of Teas and a set of Japanese Tea cups. Horizon Club As regular visitors to ‘Club Style’ Lounges wherever we stay this was our first experience of the Horizon Club, it ticks all the boxes, warm, friendly, comfortable, unlimited Tea/Coffee & Snacks available all day. We were offered ‘coffee to go’ when heading out sightseeing, even packs of crocs, boiling. 17.30-1900 a full complimentary bar & hot buffet food is available…! A big thank you to Suyeon Song, a Star, and her Team for a Fantastic time in the Club. The Spa, Pool & Gym area are amazing, the infinity pool is simply stunning….looking out from the 29 floor in the middle of a City is awesome.
