First, I must apologize to John & Maureen that they had issues that they were unhappy with… I wish I had been informed during their stay so that I could have had the opportunity to immediately address those items and make their stay better. I have 16 pictures of my unit that clearly show the current furnishings and I am sorry the style did not appeal to these guests. I will be adding 8 more pictures to show even more of our condo. As soon as I read the review and saw the master TV was not working I sent the repairman as this is a newer flat screen under warranty. Turns out the TV was UNPLUGGED from the wall and is in perfect working order. I was also shocked when I read the comment about food / owners stuff filling up the closet ~ The closet referenced is the LOCKED "owners closet" common in many vacation rentals. They are correct that ours is indeed FULL of our clothing, supplies, and a mini fridge with food / beverage items we use when WE stay here… no idea how this closet was accessed… and I apologize that they assumed that was a closet meant to be used by renters. The carpets are "older" but they were just professionally cleaned in January 2014 and our unit is also professionally cleaned between every rental. Apparently the patio door handle became loose and now that I am aware we will get that item repaired or replaced as well as the outlets checked. There were MANY pots / pans upon my last inventory check but if some have gone missing I will now replace right away. All in all, I feel terrible that their experience was not worthy of "5 stars". I do not charge "Top of the line" prices, but I try very hard to appeal to more of the "average" consumer and to give them a relaxing vacation to enjoy!!
