M61 power glow peel pads reviews, photo, ingredients – makeupalley gas up the jet

This is the most amazing exfoliating treatment ever! I have tried several, and this is the only treatment that really works for my oily/dehydrated, sensitive, acne-prone skin. Other chemical exfoliants tend to leave my skin itchy, tight, and irritated. I notice immediate results from these pads, and when I don’t use them, I can see my pores becoming clogged and the texture of my skin worsening. They smell strong but not overwhelming, and they do cause your skin to tingle (not burn) when putting this on. To be honest, I am not a huge fan of the wipe packaging because I cannot choose the amount of product I want, and then I have to use the entire wipe that application. However, it has allowed me to use this product on other parts of my body, since I want to use up the product, like my arms, back, chest, etc. I use this in the evening, once a week (even thought the box says everyday), and in the morning my skin is glowing, clarified, and soft for the majority of the week. Amazing product! PROS: -Cruelty free -Gentle enough for my sensitive skin -Gives lasting, noticeable results -Easily purchased via Amazon CONS: -Price point (expensive) -Wipe packaging – cannot choose amount of product I want

I was pleasantly surprised at these little pads. I received 1 as a sample at BlueMercury. I went home and tried it and immediately noticed results. Now, let me start by saying I’m a little bit obsessed about my skin and take good care of it and regularly see my aesthetician at my dermatologist’s office for microderms, etc .(every 6+ weeks). That being said, I was so thrilled with 1 use, I ordered a package of 10 of these little peel pads. I have somewhat sensitive skin and there was no burning, just slight tingling. The pad is so well saturated that it can easily be swiped over your entire face, neck, chest, back and arms and hands (if you want!) Why waste good product!? Anyway, I noticed results after the first use. The second time I used an application was over a week later. Again, wonderful results. Just apply all over and that’s it. Don’t rinse, just go to sleep and wake up with glowing, refreshed skin. I could see this being a once a week treat, maybe 3x a week, but I personally do not see a need to use this daily. If it is something one used daily, it would be quite expensive! However, if this is only something you’re planning to use 1 – 2 x per week, I think this is affordable. I don’t know how it works. I’ve read the ingredients and I don’t see anything ground breaking. Gentle, yet effective. Give it a go!

I used this for a round of ten treatments and I liked the results it gave me. But would I buy it again? No I would not. There are many products similar to this one out there. I have tried peel pads from Dr. Dennis Gross MD, St. Ives, Origins, First Aid Beauty, Peter Thomas Roth- all with varying results (and varying costs). For $28 I got a box of 10 individually packaged pre-soaked pads. Pricey, but I really did like the packaging. Hygienic and no worries about the pads drying out. The instructions say to apply a pre-soaked towelette to clean, dry skin. Do not rinse off. Recommend starting 3 times a week and building up to every day. So I did as instructed, applying the product before bed a few times a week, giving my skin a day or two to rest here and there. It took a little more than two weeks for me to use all ten pads. There was a mild tingling sensation upon application, but these peels were actually quite gentle and did not irritate my skin. And there was a noticeable brightening and smoothing effect. My skin tone looked very nice and even. Basically, it was what I expected to see but I was not wowed. I have achieved better results using peels from MUAC, which is what I’m going to stick with in the future. Overall, these peel pads are gentle, effective, and easy-to-use. I just didn’t like that I had to keep using them for such a long stretch of time to get my skin looking all bright and refreshed. And then the effect went away about a week after I used the last peel anyway. Didn’t seem to be worth the trouble. Nice, but I won’t buy it again.
