MINI R56 models utilize magneto resistive style wheel speed sensors. I also removed the connector on the module to clean / inspect the contacts which looked fine and I applied some deoxit to make sure they stayed clean and corrosion free. Comments: Figure 12 actually shouldn’t happen since the sensor is a Hall effect magnetic sensor. There’s a 12v and another that’s really signal instead of a proper ground. I fail to see how it would actually fluctuate between 12v-9v on actual operations. Figure 13 on the scope seems to support this theory. The difference is 1v at max on figure 13.

Comments: I back pinned the connector and checked the voltage coming from the Module 7Volts if the sensor is disconnected1 volt when the sensor is connected I suspect that the arkla gas phone number sensor has induced resistance that dropped the DC volts to that level. So now I’m pretty confident that the module is faulty. It’s obviously not an open circuit because I have voltage in all cases.

Comments: Did the test. Fault was rear right sensor – voltage range. My reading is approximately 11.8v car not started – with or without the ABS sensor connected gas problem in babies. With the sensor connected, rotated the wheel and the voltage fluctuates approximately 0.20v down to 11.6v and back up again to 11.8v. Check wiring all the way to ABS module. Nothing was shorted, cut, etc. Looks like I’m equally screwed – needing a new module.
