Montgomery county weekly crime summary – your houston news_ news

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 3 in East Montgomery County reports the following incidents for the period of March 8-13 and transported to jail.

On March 8, a 44-year-old female was arrested form the Porter Walmart store for theft. The female had allegedly concealed several pieces of jewelry in her purse and reportedly attempted to leave the store without paying for them. Loss prevention employees of Walmart stopped the female and called for deputies. The female was arrested by Dep. Hall and transported to jail without incident.

On March 8, a 43-year-old female was arrested for assault in the 15200 block of Robin Trail. A 911 call was received from the residence and Dep. O’Conner responded. Upon investigation, it was learned the woman reportedly had an argument with a male on location and during the argument the female allegedly hit the male causing him injury. The female was transported to jail without incident.

On March 9, a 33-year-old male was arrested in the 18000 block of Whispering Pines Drive, for burglary of a habitation and criminal trespass. Deputies were called to the scene because the female home owner reportedly returned home to find the male inside her home. The male was someone she formerly dated, but had ended the relationship. The female asked the male several times to leave which he reportedly refused. Deputies located the male upon arrival, where he was arrested without incident. The male was then transported to jail.

On March 9, Dep. Jordan was dispatched to the 25400 block of Loop 494, in reference a male who was reportedly on location with a gun and threatening people. Upon arrival, the male was located and detained. It was reportedly discovered he did have a pistol in his waistband. The male was checked, showed to be a convicted felon and was placed under arrest. A search of his person then showed he was allegedly in possession of methamphetamines. The male was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by felon and possession of a controlled substance.

On March 10, Dep. Hinkel was dispatched to the area of FM 1314 and Andrews Lane, for a report of a man walking in the middle of the road. Upon arrival, a 21-year-old male was located and reportedly discovered to have recently smoked marijuana. The male did not know where he was and allegedly discovered to be intoxicated. The male was arrested for public intoxication and transported to jail.

On March 11, Dep. Jordan was dispatched to the 23400 block of U. S. Hwy. 59 for a robbery call. Upon investigation, it was learned the 19-year-old caller had not been robbed, but was reportedly intoxicated and detained for further investigation. It was then discovered the 19-year-old was allegedly in possession of several narcotic pills (a controlled substance) and “tar” tetrahydrocannabinol concentrate. The male was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

On March 11, Dep. Gallagher was patrolling the area of Sorters Road near North Park when he reportedly observed a vehicle parked in a high crime area on the side of the road. Upon stopping to investigate, a 32-year-old male (driver) and a 30-year-old female (passenger) reportedly advised the deputy that they ran out of gas at the location and were waiting for someone to bring them fuel. The pair reportedly began acting very nervous and consent was given to search the vehicle. Upon search, a baggie of marijuana was allegedly discovered and the two were arrested. They both were then transported to the jail and charged with possession of marijuana.

On March 11, Dep. Lobue was dispatched to the area of Loop 494 and Ford Road for a disturbance call. Upon arrival, it was discovered a 36-year-old male had reportedly created a disturbance with a female at Player’s Bar and both were asked to leave. The pair left, but one employee thought the male took a drink outside with him and went out to get it. Once outside, the employee reportedly observed the male allegedly hit the female in the face. The male then reportedly ran down the road, away from the bar. The male was located, arrested for assault, and taken to jail.

On March 12, Dep. Cantu was dispatched to the 3300 block of Ricewood for a report of a trespasser. Upon arrival, a 23-year-old male was located who was reportedly just issued a trespass warning not to be on location. The male was arrested for criminal trespass and taken to jail.

On March 12, Dep. Hall responded to a report of a vehicle at the intersection of U. S. Highway 59 and FM 1485, sitting in the intersection with a male reportedly passed out behind the wheel. Upon arrival, it was discovered a 24-year-old male had reportedly stopped at the intersection and passed out with his foot on the brake and the car in drive. The male was awakened and the car stopped. An investigation was conducted and the male was allegedly found intoxicated. The male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to jail.

On March 12, Dep. Cooke was patrolling the area of Ford Road when he reportedly observed a 42-year-old male riding a bicycle in the middle of the road and holding a beer. Upon investigating, the male was allegedly found to be highly intoxicated and was arrested for public intoxication.

On March 13, Dep. Hall reportedly observed a vehicle in the area of FM 1314 and Valley Ranch fail to signal a turn. The deputy stopped the vehicle on the witnessed traffic offense. The vehicle reportedly made several swerves as it drove before stopping. The 40-year-old male driver was allegedly observed to possibly be intoxicated. After an investigation, the male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to jail.

On March 13, Dep. Kelman was dispatched to the 20000 block of FM 1485 for an assault call. Upon arrival, it was found a 33-year-old male had allegedly hit his girlfriend in the face several times. The male was located at a residence nearby and was arrested for assault and taken to jail.
