Second,on the secondary. Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I am only missing about 5 Star Wars figures for my collection, out of the almost 2,000 I have. Those 5 figures open, all sell for over $100 each on the secondary. Is that to much? Yes. Will I pay it? Yes. Because it is relative. $500 seems cheap for me to complete my Star Wars collection, that now almost requires a warehouse. I think people spend to much on vacations, diners and cars. But that’s my opinion. Not fact. My wife bought a coffe pot for $150,I cringed. You know how Many toys I could have bought for that?

Again this is all relative. At the end of the day, this will go up in price on the seconday. Probably selling for more than $1000. Because of the no electricity jokes small run of these and size,it will be come what is known as a “static collectible”. A collectible that never leaves a persons collection. When a toy is more than your mortgage payment then it’s too much. When a toy with international shipping and customs fees is approaching two months mortgage payments then that’s taking the ****. It doesn’t matter how much you dress it up, that’s too much.

Any toy priced at $600 falls into a whole different category than other toys in the same line. I don’t care what the scale is or what tooling goes into making it, that’s a crap ton of money for a toy. At the end of the day, that’s what these all are. Anyone that knows me knows that I love Masters of the Universe and sure I’d love to have this Snake Mountain but holy moly, even if I did have $600 collecting dust somewhere, I’d still be hesitant on the fact that that amount of money would be spent on a toy. I could see this playset being geared toward adult single people either still living at home or that have a pretty good job and live on their own. Or… maybe married couples WITHOUT kids and the husband or wife is a MOTU nerd but man, if you’re married with kids and you can still afford this thing…..what do you do for a living? This does fall in to a separate category. This is a small run adult collectible. Not a toy. In fact gas gas the entire motuc line are collectibles for adults. Super7 pricing almost doubled from Mattel. So double castle grayskull would be $500. Add in 8 years later for higher costs, add in a smaller company making a smaller run….maybe even half has many castles and add in this looks to be double the size. That taken in to account. $600 seems right in line.

I have 1 child and to afford this I planned ahead. We have known gas in chest this was coming since 2016. By pre-order time we will have had 3 years to plan for this. I set some money aside from time to time and made sure my credit cards were not out of hand. I will put this on a credit card and pay it off with each monthly payment to super7. Knowing this was coming,I actually would just stick $10 here and $20 there away. Again 3 years is quite a bit of time to get ready.

But I’m real tired of the gaslighting that goes on here by a few. I’m not feeling guilty for being able to afford an item nor will I feel guilty about the price. This is the same junk that is on Star Wars sites with the sail barge. People on sites making others feel guilty and the same people that actively tried to get the barge to fail. I remember this with castle grayskull .

One big thing. I stopped getting coffe out. You may laugh but extra large double double at Tim hortons is almost $3. That’s $12 a week or over $500 a year. On coffee. Way to much to spend on coffee…again my opinion, but I’d be happier with the mountain.Well, can’t an opinion be that it’s too expensive? Saying that shouldn’t make you feel bad for being able to afford it. I can afford it but personally think it’s not worth the price…TO ME. This is going to be made and I’ll be bummed that I don’t have one but it won’t be out of jealousy…it’ll be out of me not feeling that it’s worth the price. On top of the price I need to consider the amount of space this will take up. Grayskull is massive and to have both of these behemoths in the same room would be overkill and just not look right because it would be so cramped. I’m still very undecided on it. I do feel that it’s too gas meter car expensive ($600 total maybe…but $600 plus the shipping is a little steep) and I’d have to do some serious reworking of my display room which would be more money on top of it. I’m sure this decision will be made at the final hour and I need to see more before 9gag instagram I commit any money.

That absolutely is an opinion and any one can have it. I just don’t like how it seems that some comments say “I think it’s to much and a waste therefore everyone should think like that, and if not then you are wasting your money”. I think $13 for a 3.75 inch Star Wars figure is to much, but that’s my opinion and if someone else wants to pay those prices,so be it. Perhaps I was a bit to stern in my comments. I do apologize for that. I just don’t want this mindset that is if I can’t have,no one should. That was real big with the Star Wars sail barge and I remember it with the castle and several subscriptions through Matty. Some people want to sabotage these items. And I don’t understand why. If you think something is to much and don’t want it,move on. Now if you buy it and are disappointed, then by all means voice those concerns. But why get so worked up over something you have no itension to buy?….not directed at you.If it truly is too expensive to the masses, then it won’t be made…and if it IS made despite that, then it will fail and Super7 will lose out. I have a strong feeling that this will get made and Super7 will turn a profit…therefore, not too expensive.

All I did was state its something I just can’t justify the cost since have no room for for it my home, not to mention the $600.00 for me could cover the cost of more gas ks important things.
