During the rainy season the paths j gastroenterol can get slippery so be careful. Wear shoes with a good grip and comfortable clothing. Carry something warm. When we climbed the day started sunny but within an hour it started fogging up and we had to wear our jackets and shawl. It was tough finding the path across some stretches but we managed to reach cafe mid-way. Then it rained for about 30-40 minutes.

We had a great… If mountains and trekking is your thing then do not miss out on the Triund Trek. Beyond McLeodganj lies the small but beautiful village of Dharam Kot and you can start your trek from there. Good for beginners as well as experienced trekkers and climbers. Like us, if you have just a single day to spare then start off really early like 5:30 am. You’ll be fresher and more energetic and might take lesser time to complete the trek. A lot of people take guides but we did this on our own. Follow the paths cut out by previous trekkers and the forest department. Carry food and drinks with you. You will find one cafe mid-way and after that another once you reach Triund. During season there will be more but we did it off season. Certain stretches are very easy but at places it is quite steep. If you have a decent stamina and endurance you can complete it in less electricity prices over time than 5 hours. During the rainy season the paths can get slippery so be careful. We had a great glass of chai and relaxed and started once the rain stopped. But now the path became very slippery so we were a bit slower. Finally reached Triund and we were speechless. Green Meadows and the mountains and sitting on a rock and having chai and maggi was one of the best things to happen. We trekked beyond till the snow-line and ate kidney beans and rice. You can camp at Triund or near the snow-line either by paying for the existing tents or carry your own camping gear. We would have loved to stay overnight but due to lack of time had to get back. Return was a bit difficult as it got dark and there was just the two of us. Also there was a fear of running into a rogue bear electricity use in the us which proved quite scary. Having done the entire trek we reached Dharam Kot and met our friends at Buddha Delight. The locals were quite surprised that we managed to return the same day that too after it got so dark. Our feet were swollen but nothing that a good beer could not fix. Carry: – Warm Clothing – Camping Gear if you have – Extra money as everything up there is very expensive (we paid Rs.100/- for a plate of Kidney Beans and Rice). That is fine as it is not easy for the locals to carry stuff from the village to Triund and beyond. – Water – Energy bar – Fruits – Energy drink Don’t start off on a full tummy instead take smaller bites through the trek. You can get beautiful pictures and of course return refreshed from all the fresh air. talk to the locals that you meet. They are very grade 9 electricity quiz friendly and have lot of interesting stuff to share. More Show less

I read people reviews and went to Triund with friends. There was a bit of surprise which i would like to share. 1. Travel agents and locals there would advice you to take a guide and would scare you about people are getting injured on top and about local police check posts checking for guides and denying entry for groups without one. PLEASE DONT FALL PREY TO THEM. There is just a Rs 20 entry fee per person at the entry from Dharamkot and no guide is required. Please just ignore the people and enjoy yourself. 2. Its preferred to Camp on the top electricity vampires as then you can enjoy the sunset, late night bornfires, parties and rise early to witness the sunset. Its preferred to take the tent from McLeodGanj as finding tent on the top is a bit risky and might not work in your favor. We rented tent, sleeping bags and mattress and took them on the top and asked guides to fix it for us. If you have no experience then you can take packages also but refrain from booking online as it is expensive. You will find better deals on reaching there. The standard rate is Rs 2000 per person including la gastritis food but you can bargain further. We were able to rent our tent, mattress and sleeping bag kit for Rs 2000 excluding food. We got a good deals. Hope the same for you. 3. Trek is nice and challenging. It keeps you interested in walking and you are mesmerized by beautiful flora and deep valleys. There are 3 – 4 stops on the way where you will get water, cold drinks and food (Maggi, eggs) to eat at a premium price. 4. It do gets really cold at night (Around 2 – 3 Deg C in the month of Oct,2015), So do carry a jacket. Also there are no lights and electricity on the top. So, do carry a torch and also powerbanks to charge your cellphones. 5. There are no washrooms at the top. (Not even for girls). You have the whole top beneath you, find a spot and relax(Village style). Hope this help as I think traveler going there should be prepared. Just enjoy the nature at its best. Click great photos, read a book, interact with people and enjoy yourself. Its like heaven on the top and gets better as the night proceeds.

First of all, make sure not to go there on an over-crowded occasion. Long weekends, public holidays etc would be an over-crowded occasion for sure. It took us(group of 3) 4 hours to reach the top. The view at the zenith is worth the effort. Well, not just the view, the whole trip to top is a good experience. If you are not planning electricity transmission efficiency to spend a night there, you can follow this schedule: Assuming it doesn’t rain and you can walk for 20-30 minutes between each break you take, the distance of 6.5 to 7 KM could be covered in 4 hours. This is when you take the breaks lavishly, else 3-3.5 hours If you start by 7:30 to 8:00 in the morning, you will reach the top by about 12:00 PM. You can stay there till 3:00 PM and come down to Gallu devi temple(this is the preferable starting point for your trek. You can hire a cab from Mcleodganj to Gallu Devi Temple . It will cost you around 400 to 500 bucks). Make sure you don’t carry heavy bags. Water, some light food , a torch and a first-aid kit should suffice . Energy drinks and/or electrolytes-filled drinks , knee-cap , a pair of trekking shoes and a trekking pole if you are so used to a sedentary lifestyle gas vs diesel truck/Job PS: If you are any altruistic, show some concern for the fellow trekkers while you play loud music on your speakers. It would be really kind of you to use headphones if you can not hike without music .
