This is a beautiful luxury fitted 3 bed, 2 bath condo with large living accommodation, laundry with washer and separate dryer, s/steel appliances, bbq, offers 2 king beds and a queen bed set up. (WE CAN OFFER 1, 2 OR 3 BEDROOM FACILITIES – PLEASE ASK FOR RATES) There is a drinks fridge as well as a large side by side refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, beautiful granite worktops with granite breakfast bar, and all the other amenities for very comfortable living. The furniture is locally hand made hardwood furniture following a modern contemporary feature throughout the condo. There is local art and sculptures located throughout the condo giving it a light and airy feel. Even though we have central air, it is not normally required as we face East/South East, benefiting from the prevailing breezes which flow through the property most days. The spacious outside balcony, accessed via very large glass doors off the living accommodation, offers space for evening drinks, outside dining and just enjoying the sun or the view over the water. There is Wi-Fi in the condo and we loan our guests a local telephone to ensure they are in communication if needed.

It is our aim that once guests arrive at Roatan International Airport, they start their vacation immediately. We will arrange airport transfer to the condo and ( for a $10 tip to the driver) offer a provision stop at the local supermarket on the way home.

Mangrove Dock offers a private swimming pool for guests, located 20 feet from the water’s edge surrounded by tropical plants and flowers. There is security and private parking for guests and residents and we are on-site to help with any requests or problems. We have several other condos always available should you wish to organise a big family gathering, or just arrange for friends to be all at Mangrove Dock Condos at the same time…please just ask…..also we offer specials at different times of the year.

Luxury Pictures, nice looking condo and spacious, however like a new home, once you move in you see the issues..Location was great, walking distance to West End. Road to condo is dirt, and when it rained, there was no way around it..Mud tracked into condo stairwell which was hard to keep off our shoes and tracked into our condo..Condo staircase was not maintained during out stay. I had swept the staircase twice. The stairwell at night is pitch black, dangerous walking down tiled staircase in the dark. Sensor lights are delayed and only lite up when you were standing under them. Management said there was nothing they can do about the lighting..1st night had a cold shower, heat tank was turned off..Master shower does not maintain water temp and continually shuts off during shower. Ceiling fans have clicking sound so made it hard to sleep if you are not using the air. We had stained and dirty bed sheets, oven mitts and pot holder with dried food on them. Also a dirty towel folded on our towel rack and was told by management it wasn’t suppose to be there it was actually staff cleaning rag.. really..?

ANTS,, ants and more ants..I understand the climate and insects, however, the food ants on the counter were not controllable..Hard to prep meals..We also had a red ant infestation in front bedroom..Just before bed when we opened the window there were hundreds of ants that came crawling out..Had to spray raid twice that evening, therefore unable to use that room to sleep and sprayed raid again the following morning..Management said there was nothing they can do about ants as it’s part of the climate..! Unacceptable answer. We felt management was apathetic and didn’t care about the issues, asked for feedback but addrssed non of the above. We were robbed at 10am Christmas Day while our daughter was in the condo..Intruder walked in and took electronics. PLEASE lock your doors 24/7. We feel we over paid for this 2nd floor unit at the Mangrove.

Oh my, oh my where do I begin. This condo is BEAUTIFUL, well decorated, spacious and has everything anyone could be looking for. This was not our first time staying at Mangrove Dock but we were honoured to be the first renters of the newly finished middle condo in Egret House. We find the location to be just right…not too far from anything but yet far enough to never be bother with foot traffic, cars & noise.

After being picked up at the airport our first stop is for groceries at Eldon’s, we find the pricing comparable to what we are paying here in Ontario. There are always a few things left in the condo from the owner like, dish soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand and body soap and from previous renters things like spices, salt/pepper, bit of oil, maybe some paper towels, just enough to get you going.

We enjoy the quietness of the condo…it is not party central. We sat on our balcony enjoying the breeze, sat on the dock a few times and also sat around enjoying the pool area. On a few of the days we didn’t feel like doing anything so we sat in the condo and watched some TV and a few of the movies that are left there for you to enjoy.

For our 6 weeks there we found our electricity costs very reasonable…we ran the AC more than half the time (husband likes it very cool), TV was on most days for several hours and of course lights, fans, etc running and our total cost was just under $300.
