The apartment was very neat and extremely clean. The absentee owner is very responsive via email, and the property manager, Judi, is available whenever needed, and is a real sweetheart. The pool and hot tub were great, and the location within a neighborhood was very quiet. Close to the beach, pier, excellent affordable restaurants and any sort of shopping you need or want. Get a Win Dixie card and enjoy the sale prices…we did!

The TV is on an individual antenna with rabbit ears in each apartment,, and reception is fair to good with a limited channel selection. We liked watching the Winter Olympics, and it was OK as long as you didn’t move around the apartment which caused the reception to fade in and out.

Clothing storage is somewhat awkward, as there is no dresser. Storage cubes and a plastic drawer set is all there is, aside from the two drawer night stands. A traditional long dresser with a mirror above it could provide better drawer storage as well as a secondary location for getting dressed and doing hair (blow dry and/or curling iron) before going out. The bath is fine, but only room for one person at a time to get prepared to go out. Closet hanging space is very adequate, and access to the washer and dryer means you don’t need to bring a lot of basic clothing (at least that’s so for guys!).

We’re not complaining, just pointing what to expect and some improvements that could be made to enhance a long term stay. We loved the place, the property manager and the location. We’re coming back in 2019, and recommend that you do as well.

We rented the Wave rental unit located in Cape Coral Fl for 10 days. check in was easy, the place was exactly how it looked in the pictures and the location was great! We were within 1/2 hour drive to Captiva/Sanibel Island, Pine Island and Ft Myers Beach. We also took a 45 minute drive to Bonita Beach one day and a drive to Boca Grande Island/Gasparilla Island which is a must if you visit here! it only took hour and 15 minutes and it was our best day by far. The owner and property manager were involved throughout the process. We did not have beach chairs to use and the property manager was on site and asked if everything was ok and we told her and within a 1/2 hour we had 2 new beach chairs. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. No complaints, but only 4 bikes for all 5 units and in the busy season it’s not enough bikes to go around. So get up early if you want to go out on the bikes. Fortunately for us we did not need them everyday. I can’t wait to return and maybe book at one of the other property’s. We originally booked the Westside unit for 3 adults (self & husband & 84 yr old mother-in-law) for 4 nights in late March 2018. We then had a change in circumstances so I sent the owner a message asking if I could add 2 more adult guests (son and girlfriend) on the sleeper sofa in LR. For very modest extra guest fee, the owner changed our booking no hassle. Owner communications were consistently outstanding. Check-in and check-out were a smooth process. Place looks exactly like the HomeAway listing photos and was IMMACULATE! What the listing photos don’t show is that there is a paved double-wide driveway in front of the house centered between the Eastside and Westside units’ front doors, so parking our rental car was very convenient. No front steps or stairs anywhere in the unit so easy for older person to navigate. We loved the crisp, modern Euro style, tasteful wall decor, tile floors, no clutter. Kitchen appliances were in great condition, kitchen equipped with all essentials (I would have preferred a Keurig to the drip coffee pot, but that’s me). Comfortable beds, including the IKEA sleep sofa in LR which had an innovative, easy to use design. Plenty of storage space in bath and bedrooms. Loved the nightstands and bedside lights! Ceiling fans and A/C kept us perfectly comfortable. Just about everything in the Westside unit was in nearly new or very good condition. Could maybe replace one or two of the hand towels soon. Gas grill on patio was showing wear but worked fine. Maybe add more grill tools. I honestly can’t think of anything else that could be improved. I forgot to say how much we all enjoyed the pool and patio!!!! So pretty, well-maintained and water was just the perfect temperature! We were out exploring during the day but we enjoyed swimming both morning and night! Wished we could have stayed longer! Also I should note that this house was in a quiet, well-kept residential neighborhood in what proved to be a convenient location for exploring Fort Myers and Sanibel, also near supermarket, drugstore, etc. We would absolutely book this property again and would feel quite confident booking another of the owners’ numerous properties. In sum, our group of 5 give this place a collective 10 thumbs up! Thanks for a great stay in Cape Coral!
