One day offer earn 6x american airlines miles per dollar at apple – mommy points electricity static electricity

If you have ever bought anything from Apple, you know how quickly your bill can get to be very, very high. Coming from someone who just upgraded two phones in our family to the new iPhone X models, I feel your pain. But today, your pain can also be your gain as there is a one-day offer in the AAdvantage Shopping portal for a very unusual 6 American Airlines miles per dollar for your Apple.com purchases. This even includes the new(ish) iPhone X!

Getting any Apple mileage payout that is higher than 1 or 2 miles per dollar is unusual and always time-limited. There are also often product exclusions shortly after a new product is released, so this is a fantastic time to earn 6x miles on most of the Apple products, including the iPhone X that is not excluded from the bonus this time around.

The 256GB iPhone X is $1,149 before tax, accessories, Apple Care, etc. That alone would score you 6,894 American Airlines miles at 6 miles per dollar. Obviously, I don’t recommend buying something you weren’t planning on just to earn some extra miles, but if you were about to pull the trigger anyway, today is a great day to do so. Which credit card is best for iPhone purchases

In addition to the 6x American Airlines miles per dollar you can earn from this one-day promo, you will also earn miles or points from the credit card you use to make the purchase. I recommend choosing one that will provide the best built-in protections for your iPhone or other Apple device in the event it becomes lost, stolen, or damaged. I’ve used credit card extended warranty and damage protections on iPhones more than once ( read more here and here), so I can give first-hand testimony to how valuable those protections can be.

If you have selected to earn 3x Membership Reward points per dollar on U.S. computer hardware, software, and cloud computing purchases with your Business Gold Rewards Card from American Express OPEN,that could be a way to have some built-in purchase protections and pick up even more points on your iPhone X purchase made directly from Apple.

While it doesn’t provide a category bonus at Apple, I personally used my Ink Business Preferred Card to purchase our new iPhones simply because I’ve had success with the card’s purchase protection benefits in the past. With that card, your new purchases are covered for 120 days against theft or damage up to $10,000 per claim, and it extends the coverage of eligible U.S. manufacturer’s warranty of three years or less by an additional year. I’ve successfully used both of those protections in the past when unfortunate things have happened to our iPhones.

In addition, if you pay your monthly cell phone bill with the Ink Business Preferred Card, then the phones on that bill are protected against covered theft or damage on an ongoing basis up to $600 per claim with a $100 deductible. You can make up to three claims in a 12-month period using that coverage. Note that you do not have to use your Ink Business Preferred Card to make the initial phone purchase in order to qualify for that coverage as it is tied to paying your cell phone bill with the card. As an added incentive to put your monthly cell phone bill on that card, you will also earn 3x points on phone services, on the first $150,000 spent in the 3x bonus categories each anniversary year.

We are an Apple family around here, so I think any chance to maximize those purchases is a good one. Just remember that the chance to earn 6x miles per dollar at Apple is a one-day offer, so don’t accidentally delay and miss out on what could be thousands of extra miles.
