This is a large and beautiful park. It’s located between Stuart and Tequesta on U.S. 1. We have a state park pass, so entrance is free, but there are different electricity merit badge pamphlet pdf fee levels depending on daily use, overnight camping, etc. But its worth every penny! This park just teems with wildlife in a variety of ecosystems – sand pine scrub, mangroves, river swamps, meadows, etc. The Loxahatchee River runs through the park and its incredibly beautiful, with boat ramps, boat rentals. There are ranger-guided tours of the pioneer homestead of Trapper Nelson from the 30’s. Look up his history – its pretty unique. We’ve not gone but heard that this was a cool trip up river.

There is paved, rough-paved, and true off-road biking, with some fun chapter 7 electricity and magnetism jumps and incredible riding through the park. equestrian, and hiking trails. We started from the park entrance and did the rough-paved and paved bike paths, completing about 16 mile ride. There are actually hills here (sand dunes) so biking has some challenge to it if your ride through those areas. We went in mid-November, pleasantly cool 83 F degrees. The wildflowers were blooming like crazy, lilies and pickerel in the swamps, asters, poinsettia – I was going a bit crazy stopping and looking. We saw plenty of birds, but sorry to say that is not my specialty and there are websites for this. We also gas jockey went after rains, so some of the paths were… This is a large and beautiful park. There are several oceans beaches nearby only a few minutes away. Next time we’re going to bring our power kayaks and head up river with the tides. More Show less

This is our third stay at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. The camping area is well-maintained, and has had mostly RV campers when we have been here. We are tent campers. Our sites have had water, sewer, electric, clothesline poles, picnic table, fire ring and separate grill. There is a washer/dryer outside the bathroom building. The park does not have many trees, and so most of the camping sites are not naturally shaded. Their bathrooms have men’s, women’s, and family toilet/showering facilities electricity vs magnetism venn diagram, which was very nice when our children younger. We go to Jupiter Island Hobe Sound Beach, which is just a few miles away. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is that there is no place for one to wash dishes. They do not allow washing dishes in the bathroom sink, and electricity jeopardy powerpoint the way we do dishes is to put the graywater down the sewer hookup site. It’s not easy or convenient, but gets the job done. At Bahia Honda State Park, there is a camper’s sink outside the bathroom building for one to wash dishes, which is more convenient. Overall, though, we like coming here, and will probably be back in the future.
