Proceed with caution – review of cool rentals, puerto vallarta, mexico – tripadvisor electricity production in the us

##############

Proceed with caution. We rented 2 jeeps from Cool Rentals as they came highly recommended. We noticed issues right away. The red jeep we rented was running on a clutch that had met its end. We could barely drive up hills on paved asphalt. We tried going to Las Carmelitas but the jeep could not make it up the cobblestone hill. When we told Miles of the issues he proceeded to espouse more garbage than a used car salesman. He claimed gas x coupon 2014 that his jeep was a high-performance vehicle and that we didn’t know what we were doing. Now, that may work on a layman, but not us. Miles, do not ever, ever assume your customer has never driven a jeep before. Between the 3 guys in our group we have done more driving in vehicles and environments that make a cobblestone hill look like a concrete interstate. Just because you are running 35/33 tires does not automatically qualify your Jeep as “high performance”. Miles claimed we needed to put the jeep in 4-low to get up the cobblestone hill. That may work if we were getting stuck and couldn’t gain traction, but that wasn’t the issue. The problem was your jeep Miles. It was a clutch problem and gas near me open now the smell imitating from the bell-housing was an obvious sign; a sign we noticed long before we attempted to climb the very cobblestone hill you recommended us to venture up. You could have put a Marlin Crawler on your Jeep Miles and it still would not have made it up that hill. Your jeep showed more sings of a Megyver-Chicanda repairs than 72 Beetle with straight 6 on diesel installed. The jeep’s idler arm and shocks were so wore out that it was like driving an 18-wheeler in the mud. And I could write a whole separate comment just based on the 25 zip-ties I found installed on the intake and motor. No brakes, no clutch, no shocks, no steering…NO RETURN VISIT! More Show less

The only one espousing garbage is this guy!…We have have been renting Jeeps for 10 years! All of our jeeps are older yes there is a reason electricity in the body, they are all Cool and modified with 4 lift kits and big 33 Tires why because that is what makes them Cool and separates us from all other rental companies! If you go to my Facebook Cool Rentals you can read this guy SAM and my debate over his dilemmas regarding his jeep! Its worth the read and the laugh! The reason for his long winded rant here is I guess I embarrassed him in front of his buddies trying to explain to him why he was having difficulty going of a steep mountain slope road! In his rant he makes electricity invented timeline many false claims but one is that I tried to tell him that my jeep is a high performance jeep….quite the contrary I informed him this red jeep is a poor mans land-rover and only has a small 4 cylinder motor with very little power and when you lift it 4 and put on big mud tires you lose even more bottom end torch. This is when I explained to him that if he had put it in 4 X 4 low he could climb straight up a wall…but he didn’t like me telling him this for some reason…I dont know why it is an honest mistake but I must have hurt his ego in-front of his friends because he wasn’t the same after that. I tried explaining it nicely but you cant teach an old dog new tricks. He kept comparing my Jeep with a compact car Fiat 500 he also rented somewhere else. I explained to him If I put those baby tires on my jeep it would increase the bottom end torch sufficiently to climb steep mountain roads but he didn’t quite understand this concept! He complains about going up to Las Carmelitas which by the way he would never know it was even there if not for our informative 10 minute video that shows you how to get when was gas 99 cents in california up to the top of the mountain and enjoy this spectacular view and much more in the video. I would bet you a 100 usd bill that where he rented his little Fiat 500 they showed him nothing…We take the time electricity lessons for 5th grade with a map and show you it all unlike big rental companies! We have a personal touch unlike them! Sam here goes on and on complaining about brakes and suspension …BRAKES are BRAND NEW have no idea what he is talking about…Suspension and shocks well folks when you lift a jeep 4 and add big mud tires your jeep no longer drives like a Cadillac but of course it never did from factory, but in doing these type of modification which is very Cool the ride suffers …but Sam here doesn’t understand that concept either. He claims to have lifted the hood and seen a few Zip ties which he claims there are 25 again nice exaggeration Sam… I have 3 Zip ties holding the custom air filter from rattling on the frame!!! Guess Sam would have preferred the air filter rattling!…Sorry for your troubles SAM maybe next time ask a few more question or listen to our clear instructions before leavening! If sound like an A it beats being a dumb A!

Thanks for the review. To all reader if you are wondering why the check engine light is on or comes on at some point all of our gas news uk jeeps…is because these jeep wranglers have way too many sensitive sensors and set off the light! We explain fully before you leave and all the gauges work that tell the true story work… OIL ,TEMP,CHARGING and we explain power usage estimator it all before you leave …If you are a jeep wrangler owner you understand! I dont know why he said our jeeps are a bit beat up because they are not they are older models but all redone/custom with new paint and recovered seats. There are no dint’s or scratches. the reason we use older models is we have spent $$$ thousands of dollars to make them COOL with suspension lift kits mag wheels and big mud tires…We are Cool Rentals not new rentals! Dont get me wrong we have many new vehicles in our fleet like our line of Razors ATV/UTVs we have over 50 vehicles to choose from between our two locations! Note all of our vehicle are very well maintained come as see for yourself…thanks again for the review!

Let me just say- their customer service is incredible. These guys were all great- very friendly, honest, helpful with telling you spots to see/ where to go. We rented a Polaris 2 seater (i’m pretty sure that’s what it was). I would rate the vehicle itself a 2-3. It was SO LOUD, it literally sounded like my first car that had its muffler fall off. BUT it was fun. we wanted to go far, and the staff assured us we could go far electricity wikipedia simple english, and we went around 50 miles. My bf drove and felt very unsafe/ uneasy because the steering was messed up- he said it felt like a car with no power steering. We drove along the beach highway and I got pretty anxious but we made it. I think that we should have known this wasn’t the long drive vehicle we wanted electricity joules- we should have just got a car or a jeep. This vehicle was meant for off-roading or jungle cruising. Driving around the cobblestone streets was verrry bumpy. I would definitely rent here again, the staff were awesome. I would say next time I would be more clear in our end goal- we wanted a nice relaxing cruise and we didn’t really have that 100% of the time. I’m only giving it 4 stars because the ride didn’t perform up to standards we were given- but staff and experience regardless was 5 star. Thanks for giving us some fun, if scary at times memories in PV! Will be back.
