My Fiancé and I traveled to Monterey for our 5 year anniversary, and of course we had to go to a spa while we were here. I’d read the reviews for this place, and it definitely lives up to all the good ones! Our appointment was at 5:30PM on a Wednesday, we got there at 5PM, as recommended. Although we did feel bad that we were most likely the last clients of the day. When I made the appointment the lady on the phone asked if we had a massage therapist gender preference, which was a nice option, but we told her we didn’t have a preference. We went with the Sweetheart Package, which is a 30 minute soak in a jacuzzi tub together (swim suit optional), and then we chose the 50 minute massage. The robes they give you are comfy and warm, and they have these quadcopter gas engine rubber sandals that are actually quite comfy also. You wait in this cozy room with 4 separate, little couch nooks, with tea and water provided. They took us back to the wet room where the tub was, and it was very cozy and romantic feeling. The tub water was a bit hot, but you’re welcome to turn the cold water facet on to even it out. When the 30 minutes is over, they knock on the door to tell you they’re ready for the massage, and give you time to put your robes back on. My massage therapist was Rachel (female), and my fiancé’s was Taylor (male gas 10 8 schlauchadapter). They explained what we needed to do, and asked if we had any problem areas and what kind of pressure we would like, and if we had any nut allergies because they use a nut oil. The massage tables are heated, and even though we had just come out of a hot bath, it felt like a perfect temperature. We were so relaxed the whole time, and both therapists did an amazing job to hit all the right areas, and just make the whole experience great. After they offered the pool, hot tub, and steam rooms for use, but we were there up until closing so we felt it would be weird to stay longer. They do validate parking if you park in the Chase parking garage, but q gas station cleveland ohio unfortunately we didn’t know that and had to pay for the garage we did park in, but it was only $2 so it wasn’t a big deal to us. Overall, we will definitely be coming back for future trips to Monterey!
